SLC27-W1 | A One-Day Street Journalist: Festival-centric business.
Hello Steemians!
We are now starting the first week of Steemit Challenge Season 27 under the new initiative A One-Day Street Journalist. This week's theme is very special - Festival-centric business. There are many religious, cultural and traditional events around us where hundreds of small traders set up temporary shops. These businesses give us colorful stories of struggle and survival. This week you will play the role of a journalist for a day and highlight the lives of such festival-oriented businesses.

General Business Context Of The Challenge |
---|
Festivals in our society bring joy, gatherings, and economic opportunities. Around these events, many people rely on temporary street businesses. Your job is to find small businesses that have sprung up around these festivals and report on them like a journalist. If possible, show photos or videos of a live conversation with the shopkeeper. You will need to choose one of the topics from the list below.
- Food business at any annual fair or trade fair.
- Perfume, Tasbi, Hat, Punjabi, and Prayer beads shops during any Eid.
- Gift items and decoration items for Puja or Christmas Day celebrations.
- Food business at school sports, cultural events and mahfils.
- Cake, Handicrafts, sweets or toy stalls for various functions in your city.
What You Must Share & Contest Objectives and Your Role |
---|
In this competition, I will ask you to find a festival-themed business in your area. If possible, hold a microphone in your hand and conduct a business interview with the shopkeeper like a journalist. You can choose a shop and share the story of that shop. If you want, you can talk about a food vendor in that festival-themed place or you can tell the story of a toy vendor or you can tell the story of the life of a festival vendor. However, You will need to go to that location and take a photo like the one shown below as proof. You can write this on a sturdy piece of paper.

I really enjoyed by reading your full writing. Its really going to be fun becoming a onedays journalist. But i am thinking that i dont have a microphone,is it necessary for getting higher mark?In video should I capture the moment of talking with shop owner?Let me know..
Microphone and talking to the shopkeeper are optional.
Thank you, @saniya9 sister, for asking this question to @max-pro brother. I was also thinking about this question. Now from here I understand how to work.
However, a friend of mine has a DJI Mic Mini microphone, and I can use it one day a week if I want.
Yes, of course, if you want, you can capture videos or photos with a microphone in your hand like journalists.
