Actually, what do we call a festival? Every religion has its own festivals. For example, Hindus or other non-Muslims have worship festivals. For Muslims, there are festivals in mosques and Eidgah grounds. Naturally, however, Muslims celebrate religious festivals centered around the mosque, such as Milad Mahfil, Islamic discussions, and celebrations involving Islamic culture.
Well, many people find daily wage opportunities in various ways centered around these festivals. We have seen that people do business during these festivals. Where I went, it was next to a mosque and there were many business establishments. Various shops exist there because of this mosque festival, such as perfume shops, Punjabi jubba shops, and stores selling prayer mats and Islamic clothing.

I have been living in this city for the past five years. Whenever I need something religious, I come here and buy various items. Perfume, caps, prayer mats, miswak, etc. The prices of items here are also very reasonable because most of these shops sell at wholesale prices. Below, I have mentioned some pictures and prices.

The situation is such that sometimes it is not because of the festival itself, but people are attracted to visit the shops because they are set up for the festival; for example, sometimes these items are not available when there is no festival. That is why during festivals, these items become readily available. Additionally, during festivals, the quantity of these items increases, and new and unique items become available. At the same time, people are drawn to these items for gifting to friends, family, and relatives.
Yes, of course, these businesses are very important for maintaining local festivals and culture. If you ever notice that a festival is taking place here but there are no shops or businesses, then you can assume that you will miss about 50% of the audience. Therefore, to preserve the culture and to make the local area neat and beautiful, it is essential to have businesses that support local festivals. This will benefit those who are religious and come here for worship.
