"SLC27-W1 | A One-Day Street Journalist: Festival-centric business."
Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim
Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh.
How are you all? I hope you are all well. Alhamdulillah I am also well. I am back with another new post. Today I am going to participate in the first week of Steemit Challenge Session 27. Today I will try to express my opinion on the topic organized by @max-pro Sir. I thank @max-pro Sir a lot for choosing such a beautiful topic. Today I will be a reporter for a day and show you a report.
All economic developments, including the infrastructural development of a country, depend on business or commerce. Thousands of people have chosen business or commerce as their profession. Some may have started their journey in big cities and some in small cities. If you listen to the stories of most successful businessmen, you will see that their journey was difficult, from small or from the sidewalk. One day, while doing business standing on the street, he became the owner of Visakha Industries. No job is bad, if you work honestly, you will get success in all fields. In our Islamic religion, business has been given the most importance and is considered halal. I have highlighted some of the benefits of doing business below:-
1. First of all, you have the freedom to do your own work. You do not have to stand up or sit down for others. You can work as you wish. Which is not possible in a job done under someone else.
2. You can start a business with a small amount of capital.
3. You can create your own identity through business, you have the opportunity to work for the country and for the people.
4. Halal income is provided. You can create opportunities for employment for others.
There are also many other benefits. However, you cannot start a business just because you want to. This requires planning, spending money and time. However, it can be easily started on a small scale in the beginning. For this, small shops on the side of the road are increasing day by day. As time goes by, people are trying to do something themselves, which is creating people's trust in business.
If we look around us, we will see that hundreds of people have started businesses of various kinds on the side of the road. Again, at various fairs, events, Eid, pujas, playgrounds, and other places, you will see a crowd of small traders. You will find hundreds of records of those who do business on the streets and are now millionaires. But this requires patience and effort. Today, I will try to portray such a place with you.
Those of you who have visited the National Zoo have seen it. Hundreds of people are trading various kinds of things on the side of the road for more than 1 kilometer in front of the main gate. It is always crowded here like a big event. Last week, I noticed this while visiting the zoo with Boma's family. Especially here, food and toys for children were available more. As you go along the road, you will see rows of food hotels. Where you can get food of different names and tastes. Then a little further, you will see various grocery stores. Where, biscuits, water, chips and other various kinds of food items are available. I bought some things from a shop. I bought one liter of mojo, two packets of biscuits, bread, and one packet of banana cake.

Bananas | 40 | 2.7 |

Then we will enter with these. In front, we saw many people sitting in different places and selling nuts. Then we were quite tired and thirsty after our journey, so we went to a sherbet shop. There were seven of us in total. We ordered seven glasses of lemon sherbet. Each glass of sherbet cost 10 taka. Lemon sherbet is very beneficial for our body during summer.
Lemon juice | 7 glasses | 70 taka | 4.7 steem |

In front, various types of toys for children were being sold. Balloons, cars and many more. Women's cosmetics were also being sold in vans on the side of the road. In total, all the things like a fair were available here. Which you might have understood from the pictures. I have tried to share a video with you below. Now let's find out the answers to some more questions-
What are the festival-oriented businesses in your area?
The businesses that are done in festival-centric or tourist places in our area are:-
Various types of fast food businesses (Fuska, Chatpati, Chhola, Singara, Burger, Chop, Pizza and many more), Sharbat business, Clothing business, Toy business, Furniture business, Grocery store is also given. Cosmetics business etc.
Have you ever bought anything from these shops? Show pictures + videos and show their prices.
Yes! Of course I have bought food and games from the shops at different times. Since I bought while visiting different places, it was not possible to share all the pictures, I have shared the picture of me buying food and having Sharbat while visiting the zoo with you. I have discussed the prices at the top of the post.
Why are people more attracted to street stalls during festivals?
In fact, those who set up stalls on the streets, whose stalls sell goods at low prices, do not have to pay shop rent or employee salaries like businessmen. That is why they sell goods at low profits. As a result, people are attracted to buy low-priced goods from street stalls.
Are these businesses contributing to the preservation of local culture?
Of course, if there are no stalls or shops at a fair or event, very few people will go there. People flock to these stalls because of them. That is why I think these businesses are contributing to the preservation of local culture.
Above all, I want to tell you that those who do business on the side of the road are making a big contribution to the economy of our country. That is why we should respect them, and give them importance, so that they can take their business to a bigger scale.
I made myself a reporter for a day and shared some words and pictures with you. I hope you all liked it. Everyone stay well and healthy. I will see you again with a new post of mine.
