"SLC26-W1 | Street Business Diaries: Street Food and Snacks."
How are you all?
I am @samhunnahar, joining you from Bangladesh. I am starting my blog today by greeting and welcoming everyone. First of all, I would like to thank our dear moderator @maxpro brother for spreading such a beautiful challenge to everyone. Because it feels great to participate in the competition. Through everyone's participation, we can learn a lot and see a lot. This time's challenge is a detailed discussion on street food.
What is street food?
First of all, I will say that street food is a food that can be made very easily and is very delicious to eat. Such foods are especially available in open places. They are usually more delicious than other foods. Small traders make these foods from home and sell them through vans or easily portable things at the doorsteps of the streets or in crowded places.

Street food comes in different types. There are fuchka, jhalmuri, and chatti. Moreover, there are different types of pitha puli. Street food also includes chicken tikka, chicken roll. Fried noodles of various types. In addition, fruit juices of various items. In other words, the foods that we get in open places that are very easy to make and very delicious to eat and can satisfy hunger, and are very easy to carry are called street food.
Area of Street Food:-
We have a huge demand for street food in Bangladesh. Such foods are seen everywhere in the village and city. We especially eat these foods in the afternoon. However, these foods are seen around colleges or schools in the morning. In other words, street schools are more visible where there are a lot of people. They do not sell such foods in a specific place. In front of an office or school in the morning. In the afternoon, they sell them in a tourist place. Some shops go to a specific place and sell them. That is, they go to tourist places every afternoon and sell the food.

How do they prepare the food: -
First of all, those who go early in the morning to sell street food, get up early in the morning and prepare these foods and early in the morning they take them in a van or on their heads. And the foods that they sell in the afternoon or afternoon, they prepare from morning to noon. In the late afternoon, they reach their destination. Here I have shared with you the view of several types of street food shops.
Which I took from the area around the seaside. However, this place is a tourist place, a famous place, Cox's Bazar Sea Beach. People come here all the time to travel, whether local or non-local. So they come to a specific place to sell the food constantly in a van.
Many people bring the food in their heads and sell it here in an open environment. Again, some small traders sell it in an open area in a van. I went to the Sugandha Point area of Cox's Bazar Sea Beach. Because there are a lot of street food shops here. I like every food very much. Especially here, there are fish fry shops.
There are chicken roll or noodle shops. There are also shops selling onion, beeguni, and potato chops. However, there are a lot of fried food shops here. Moreover, you can get chatti. And when winter comes, you can see a lot of fish fry shops.

Street food shopkeeper's life and livelihood: -
Street food shopkeepers earn their living by selling food. Other members of their family cooperate with them to make these foods. Especially, these shopkeepers spend the money they earn all day together and go home to the markets. Because they take those materials to sell again the next day. Along with this, they do the family market arrangements.
Basically, other members of their family cooperate with them in this work. If they cannot sell, their family's income festival is no longer there. They do not educate their children so much, but use them to help them with their work. Especially if they cannot do this work, life in the family becomes very difficult. They earn their living by doing this business somehow. They bear other expenses of the family.
Their position in the society:-
Those who sell street food are the poorest in our society. They started this business with a small amount of money and with great difficulty. Many times, it is seen that they take the help of loans to run this small business. To pay this installment, they sell food day after day and bear the expenses of other family members. In other words, these businesses are more common in our society who are in the poor category. Such family members do these businesses.
My inspiration.
I think that any businessman is the key to success. When we start a business, we begin on a small scale. All hard work is great for me. No matter how small, I respect all kinds of businesses and appreciate them. If these businesses can be managed well, they can become big someday. Many small businessmen build very big shops.
