Today, I have come to participate in the first week of the Steemit Challenge SLC-S26/W2, organized by the Honorable brother @max-pro. he has brought a fully uncommon and thoughtful challenge, whose name is "Street Business Diaries: Street Fruit, vegetable, and fish sales."I feel proud to participate in this challenge.

What items are in the highest demand in your area? (fruit or vegetable or fish markets)-

Bangladesh is a developing country. In every part of this country, people from the upper class, middle class, and lower class live together. Most of the lower-class people earn their living by doing small businesses. They usually run various businesses on the side of the road or in a van with a small capital. That is why we see various small capital businessmen around us. Some of them are fish sellers, some are vegetable sellers, and some are seasonal fruit sellers. In addition, all these people do business in various professions.

So, in our area, I see people from various small capital professions. However, the most common among them are businessmen of daily essential items. For example, fish traders fulfill our daily fish needs. I also see vegetable traders, thanks to whom we get fresh vegetables every morning. We also see various fruit vendors. However, the number of fish and vegetable vendors is more. In our society, we see more fish and vegetable vendors.

We all want to buy our necessary items from a nearby place in a short time. The shops on the side of the road fulfill that need. These are not actually shops. Some people with little capital sell fish and vegetables on the side of the road. I basically buy fish and vegetables from these shops on the side of the road every day.
The advantage of buying from these shops is that they sell fresh fish and vegetables every day. And the profit is also low. Also, a good relationship is created because they are always available at hand. For all these reasons, I buy my fish and vegetables from people sitting on the side of the road.

What kind of special methods or offers do sellers use to attract customers?-

I always buy my fish and vegetables from people sitting on the side of the road. According to my knowledge, these traders are easy to deal with. There is no complexity among them like seasoned traders. They believe in one thing: that they have to sell fresh fish or vegetables; if the fish or vegetables are not fresh, then the customers will not come. They try their best to buy fish and vegetables by looking for the freshest ones with a very simple logic.

However, I have seen that each trader has set aside some of their own customers. This is because the traders give the customers the facility to buy in bulk. As a result, customers flock to these shops in the greed of buying in bulk.
To sustain their business, the traders on the side of the road run their business with very simple thinking.

How important do you think the role of these businesses is in health and nutrition?-

We all know this eternal truth. We always buy fish and meat that are beneficial for health. We try to keep the fish and vegetables we buy fresh so that all the nutrients are maintained. To maintain the nutritional value, I did not buy my fish and vegetables from a big market or from the side of the road; this cannot be an issue. The main issue is that the purchased fish and vegetables will be full of all the nutrients.
Now, as far as I know, those who are running businesses sitting on the roadside buy fresh fish and vegetables every morning, finish selling by 11 am, and go home.
On the other hand, fishmongers in big markets keep the fish in ice and then sell them. There is no evidence of how long these fish were made. In the case of vegetables, it is also observed that those bought one day are sold within 2/3 days.

In such a complex situation, for the sake of health, I think it is better to buy fish and vegetables from the roadside instead of buying them from the big market.
When I buy from the roadside, I am sure that the items I purchase are full of nutrients. So, I think there is no way to neglect the roadside shops, but rather we should thank them for fulfilling our needs for fresh fish and vegetables every day. Because of them, we can purchase our fish and vegetables in a short time and also fulfill our nutritional needs.
