My Introduction to Steemit

Hello friends!
I am a newbies here and my name is Ruth Jacob, but I preferred to be called @ruthyjay on Steemit platform . An indigene of Edem Akai in Uyo Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria.
I heard about Steemit from well meaning friends who have been here for some calendar years now. It is so interesting to know that such platform that I can write, post and share my interest and get curated exist.

Area of Interest

I am so passionate about fashion and designs which I have learned since from my High School years.
Because of my love for fashion, I went into sewing, fabric design, making of fascinator Hat for women, buttons molding, embroidery, weaving, and general sales after my graduation from the Polytechnic.
This is an area which I have trained many interested individuals who are now on their own businesses.

Likes

I like dreaming big and also working towards achieving my dreams/goals in life.
I like my family. They are my motivation.
Honesty is my watchword, and that is the motto for my business.

Dislikes

dishonest act, being unreal and character assassination.

Post types that should be expected of me

Fashionable contents in terms of fabric made and designs, home-made dishes/cooking, local/international cuisine, events and happenings, Science and humanity, motivational guides and others.

Conclusion

Since I am a newcomer, I will be opened to receive new ideas and suggestions from you dear steemit's communities and friends.
If I make a mistake, I will welcome correction from you because no human is perfect.
Lastly, though I do not know much about cryptocurrency, but I am interested in this platform, I will like to learn it with passion and also contribute my quota to the growth of Steemit communities.
