RE: Hello, Steemit Community! I have a question for you all. (What are your thoughts on a data compensation platform?)
It looks as if no one will answer you. It's no surprise to me. The newcomers community isn't the place to ask Steemians what they expect (which I did many times through a weekly contest).
If you know how Steemit started, read the white paper (PoB) than you know what the idea is of this platform.
I go for creativity (writers, artists) and try to stimulate (or help) them. My stimulation? Happy people and yes, I do need rewards too since I host and sponsor many contest and Steemians for many years.
Communities can not vote unless the founder has plenty of SP or all members will delegate their SP. A few communities work that way (with or without dictatorship). Since most Steemians post in different communities, it's impossible to delegate to all of them. I never ask the members of my communities to delegate.
Rewards
It's great but I also notice that good, creative isn't rewarded, the same counts for for members of certain countries, whilst others are always rewarded (out of pity , bought or?).
Since you are testing what already exists (for many years) the question arises what will make you succeed where others "failed" or many struggle?
I will resteem your post and let's see if you receive replies.
I wish you a creative week/end.
