I'm just a bit gutted I've missed out picking up some more BTC, I'd happily sell if I could at the current price, I think by my next PD on Monday it might just be back down where it was at the beginning of the week!

I know I can't predict it, but someone out there must know something is happening before it happens. Seems like there should be someone behind the cause, while the rest of us become the effect. :)
I still don't have a direct way of converting fiat to STEEM, and the one I've been using (Coinbase) has me wait a week before I can use what I transfer to it (which they blame on some regulations in the US, which I know is probably true, but still), so I haven't been doing a whole lot lately with everything that's been going on.
I've been thinking about trying the BTC kiosk that opened up in the mall a few weeks ago, but haven't yet. It's a retail kiosk, so prices are higher and I just haven't wanted to do that yet. :)
Does anyone have a direct way of converting Fiat to Steem? I still have to go via BTC.
Sounds like it's a real hassle for you, Bittrex and Kraken are a good combination I find - I can deposit FIAT into Kraken for zero fees, and then easy to buy BTC/ LTC with Euros, then it's Bittrex for the Steem, still hassle, but easier than you have it by the sounds of it!
I'm just going to sell Steem and buy in HIVE gradually anyway, week by week, month by month, little by little, I'm not gonna try and predict the troughs and peaks.
It's just a few billionnaires that control the system I think!
