Hi, this is a great post about a great book. Although quite old it has stood the test of time and is still as relevant today as it was when it was written (even if some of the stories are dated).

Everyone has their idea and desires but its common that many people don't show much interest when another person is talking about it.

This so true, we like talking about ourselves but only pretend to listen to others. For example, most people would claim to know the people at work but yet don't know the names of their spouses, their children or know what hobbies they have. We should take more time to learn what others care about. We need to take an interest in others.
