RE: Why People Fail to Change Habits (And How You Can Break the Cycle)

in Project HOPElast month

It’s hard for me to give up habits, even bad ones, because they’re instant gratification. And often that wins, and I give in. There are plenty of habits that are obviously meh, but I consciously don’t want to quit them. For now. Like smoking, for example. Or late-night dinners. Honestly, habits are an interesting thing. Thanks to some articles on Breeze Wellbeing official site, I realized it’s important to understand the nature of a habit. Are you doing something to avoid doing something else? To avoid thinking about something? Or just because you enjoy it?
