There is no doubt that the automotive industry has evolved a lot in recent years and companies are striving every day to make more powerful and innovative cars than other companies.
Technology has helped this evolution to be faster, there are already cars where there is no driver and provide cab services, this happens in some Asian countries.
AI is helping a lot to make this happen. The cars we used to see on TV in cartoons are becoming a reality.
