Customers will always remain important despite the success of a business
I walked into a cosmetics store today to get some body care items and I tried to ask the lady in charge about what she felt was the most appropriate care products amongst two items I had selected and to my surprise she gave me a response that signified that was my choice to pick, I felt offended by the statement and even more offended by her actions, I was really angry and I was walking out when her sister asked her what the problem was, she explained her own side of the story and I was expecting the sister to call me and apologize on her behalf but then I was surprised that the sister who owned the store also murmured something rude.
I was a good customer in that store because I visited regularly and I never got my cosmetics in any other location asides from that cosmetics store but today I completely changed my mind and I promise not to go there any longer and I will also inform my friends to do the same.
I think there is a level of success that some entrepreneurs have in business that gives them a certain type of pride, they begin to believe that they can do away with any customer and their business will still flourish, this is a very insane decision because on all grounds, customers remain the bedrock of any successful business empire.
This even reminds me of when I was an undergraduate, there was a lovely man who started a restaurant and the restaurant was striving properly, it was a place where everyone would love to have a meal it was small but decent, then he invited his Mum to handle the accounting department she was the one who will calculate the item sold and collect the money.
Rather than adding to the business, his Mum became a major problem to the business, she felt that the students were beneath her and she choose to disrespect them, she would speak to customers in an unpleasing manner and even exaggerate bills on several occasions, gradually students who did not fight back with the mother for the sake of respect stopped going there to purchase food and after three months of the mother being in charge of the business, I was surprised to see the business had closed down.
There is no promising future for a business that disregards the importance of customers, no matter how great the business is going, customers should always be regarded as number one. There is no level of business success that should push an entrepreneur to disregard the benefits of customers.
When it comes to business, customers are always right. Learn not to piss them up. If you do, you will surely enjoy their support on your business

Customers are always valuable assets in the journey of a business to be successful
Hello friend I totally agree with you, customers are the mainstay of any business or enterprise, even if some are rude and do not value the attention given to them, it is necessary to remain calm and continue to be polite.
Customers should never be taken for granted irrespective of the height a business attains. It is customers who push the business to a successful height and customers are needed to maintain it as well.
Hello @futurekr, I work in a hardware store, I have commented previously, and well by chance, my boss yesterday sent a letter something similar in relation to the treatment with the customer. all of us were surprised and even with doubt about why he had sent that message.
It turns out that my boss is the one who directly manages the social networks and they had sent him a message that said, verbatim, the following
"you have an excellent team, they took care of me in the best way, they definitely know how to make me feel comfortable in your store"
That for all the team without a doubt, was a great pride, and well the boss congratulated us.
Indeed you are right about this point, and I would add that another cable of the success of the business is to recognize your employees, congratulate them and give them a hand for their personal growth, that will maintain motivation in the group.
