This is a very hot topic and as you say is something silent, many do not realize and do not know what happens in some homes where the man mistreats the woman. but this somehow can end if a good education and teach children the values that women should be respected, often these men who are aggressive come from a dysfunctional upbringing.
It is precisely in education and the transformation of thinking where we must act, because machismo is a social construct that affects and damages our culture and threatens life on the planet. There are many women who die victims of macho violence and whose names will never be remembered because their cases are not known.
