RE: Shortage of Sputnik V Vaccines.
Greetings dear @carlir it is surprising how we have managed to develop a process of vaccine development in an accelerated and rapid way when it is known that this process can take even up to 10 years between testing and evaluation of effectiveness, however, before the deadly of covid-19 was achieved in record time recording less than 1 year for implementation to i seem is great.
Now the point of distribution, I see it more as an economic problem between large nations, because I can not conceive how once generated cost to have access to a vital substance for humanity,
As you mention the Russian vaccine is applied in two doses, now what happens to those people who are placed the first and did not respect the time to place the second by shortage of these? will it have the same effectiveness? are things that tndremos to evaluate over time. Valuable information Professor Ruben
Greetings friend @madridbg, the Sputnik V vaccine once the first dose is placed the waiting period to place the second dose can be up to 90 days, this differs from other vaccines that after applying the first dose must place the second in 21 days.
