What comes to HIVE chain, it might have started out of frustration when people were unhappy about the development speed and direction, but it's no excuse to start spamming on Steem just to promote HIVE. I know there is some decent people behind HIVE too, but they are overshadowed by those people who recently acted like children on Steem.
