Hello @dgalan, I have always thought that primary education is the basis of the future of every student, during this stage the student will develop the best skills and attitudes towards studying and I see with great concern that some teachers today show the same attitude as the teacher who mention in your post, I believe that to be a teacher you must have a great vocation and show interest in the evolution of each student.

It is necessary to be very attentive to the teachers of our children even more if we evidence such a drastic change from when we studied , I hope that with this new normal teaching professionals focus on the real education they should impart .
