China for quite some time has been seeking political control of the region by making loans to populist governments that are very unlikely to pay back the money, Venezuela is the best example, our country drags a huge debt with the Asian giant that I doubt that we can cancel in the short term as the interest rate of these loans is not so clear, China in its attempt to consolidate itself as the first power is indebting half the world while accumulating gold in its reserves.
