Club 75 Steem Plants Contest Week No. 22 - The Lovely Orchids

I was walking to meet some friends in our subdivision one morning last week. I passed by a neighbor's house and couldn't help but notice this blooming plant which was sticking out of his iron fence.

At first I did not know what kind of flower it was but the pinkish red color was very attractive. So I took a closer look at it.

Yes, I guessed right. It was an orchid bloom. And I went near it and took a close up photo. Here it is.

I looked it up and it turned out this type of orchid is called a Vanda. It is a common specie and come in many different colors and color combination.

I think the orchid is one of the most beautiful flower I have seen. Wouldn't you agree?

I would have loved to write more about the orchid but with the contest about to end in 5 hours this would have to do. I hope you liked it. Wishing all the contestants a big good luck. Meanwhile I hope everyone stays safe, healthy and in peace with each other.
