Today was a relaxing and enjoyable day and peaceful day for me. When I opened my eyes in the morning I felt a slight breeze of cold air outside which was giving me the feeling of a new beginning. After some time I set out towards the mosque. There is a different peace in morning prayers. The silence there the relief that comes in the heart by taking the name of Allah already removes the fatigue of the day. After the namaz I sat there for some time looked towards the sky and saw that light was spreading and the birds had come out of their nests. It seemed as if everything was welcoming the new day.

When I returned home mother had prepared hot tea and breakfast. The aroma of parathas and tea for breakfast had spread throughout the house. That moment was very intimate – as if every morning should start like this, with peace and familiarity. After some time I left for the hospital. On the way as usual I saw some familiar faces people sitting in the bus the hustle and bustle of the streets. Everything was normal yet something seemed different today.

As soon as we reached the hospital, the atmosphere was busy as always. When I went towards the ward I saw that the nursing staff was participating in a training session. Seeing his concentration and desire to learn I felt a sense of pride. The effort of every staff was to ensure that there was no shortage in the care of the patients. I liked that moment very much because when a nurse fulfills her responsibilities seriously its effect is visible on the health of every patient. I was stand there watching them for some time and felt a sense of satisfaction that the hard work of people like us really does making a difference.

By evening I felt like lightening up a bit so I went out for a walk with my friends. We all went towards the nearby garden where date palms stood beautifully. When the golden light of the setting sun fell on those leaves it seemed as if the entire scene had come out of a painting. There were coolness in the air and I did not realize how the time passed by laughing and joking with friends and really it was amazing momemnt.

When I returned home at night my heart was completely calm despite being tired. Mother served food, and after eating, when I went to the balcony the moon looked completely round and light yellow in the sky. That sight was heart touching – as if everything that happened throughout the day had been captured in the light of the same moon. At that moment I felt that no matter how busy the day is, if there is a feeling of peace and gratitude in the mind, then every day becomes beautiful.
