Explanation

---

Today I’m going to share with you the drawing of one of my favorite character from the Shojo anime – Sailor Moon. The Shojo anime has several different series. The character I’m drawing today is the main character of the Sailor Moon series. Sailor Moon is a teenage girl. So without any delay, let’s get started.

▪️Step I

	Necessary things

Start to draw

First, I gathered all the necessary materials. Then, using a pencil, I started by drawing a girl's face and the upper head area on white paper.

▪️Step II

After that, I designed the upper body part. I added various shapes here to give it a nice look.

▪️Step III

Next, I drew the long hair on both sides of the head. Then I drew the waist and both arms. One arm is stretched down resting on the leg, and the other hand is placed on the waist.

▪️Step IV

I shaped the hair in between and then outlined the lower dress part from the waist. I tried to draw the dress portion as neatly as I could.

▪️Step V

	Have been done my drawing

Then I drew both legs. One leg is straight and I outlined the shoe on that leg. The other leg is bent as if she’s standing on one leg. I designed the shoe on this leg as well.

▪️Step VI

I will start to color

You can clearly see that the outline drawing of Sailor Moon is complete. Now I’ll begin the coloring. First, I started coloring the hair. I used yellow for the hair. To make it look more realistic, I left some white spaces here and there.

▪️Step VII

Then I used blue color. I used blue on the eyes, on both sides under the neck, and all over the skirt around the waist. I also lightly used blue on the lower arms, sides of the belly, and legs.

▪️Step VIII

Now I started using red. I applied red on the neck jewelry, chest outfit design, hands, and shoes. Now it’s starting to look really beautiful.

▪️Step IX

Using Gel pen

I used skin color on the hands, legs, neck, and face to make it look real.Then i use a gel pen to make my drawing more vivid. As you can see, my Sailor Moon character drawing is now complete.

▪️Step X

Then I wrote necessary tags on a paper and captured a photo of the drawing. After that, I captured a selfie with my drawing.
