Today’s Gameplay 🎮 | Steem memory game
Greetings,
Today I played the Steem Memory Game only as a self-practice and a closer look how everything actually works. Yesterday I was more interested in having a good time with the interface and laughing at my errors, today however was different.
I needed the challenge to my strength to a certain extent. So I started off the game with a carefree attitude and said to myself, hmm just trying to practice so how good can I fare?

When the cards were produced I secretly started to turn them over slowly and took more notice. I did not even rush as I used to before but instead I took time to carry a watchful eye and attempted remembering the placements.
The easy interface continues to amaze me-very basic and at the same time fully engaging, it makes the game more entertaining. It was not concerning the competition or place on the board, it was rather an experience of trying to comprehend the game flow and approach to its mastering step by step.

During the play, I could observe that patience is a massive difference. Two times I was on the brink of clicking so fast but I remembered I was just practicing. Remarkably, making such a minor shift in my approach made me minimize stupid mistakes. There began to be more natural matches.

It had been simply a self practise but boy would I feel excited when I got a perfect match almost like celebrating a mini victory! 😅

At the end, I was able to finish the game with the following results:
- Time: 1:29
- Moves: 36
- Perfect Matches: 10
- Score: 1350 🎉

That is pretty good work in a practice lesson! These scores made me optimistic and I could tell that though it was not a significant progress I was not making a mistake with the game mechanics anymore. In comparison to the previous day performance, I would sense a more accurate rhythm to my play today.

What this session reminded me of is that practice does make a difference. Even a tiny effort towards self improvement can give clarity and faith. The practice games allowed me to have an idea of how to handle the moves properly, how to concentrate more and how patience can be rewarded.
The result of 1350 points and 10 perfect matches was good, although, obviously, I could manage to achieve much higher result with practice.
In general, the gameplay of today was uncomplex yet significant. There was no target to be near, no score to beat, no lesson to teach, it was to be learnt, learnt to observe and enjoyed the process. And really, that is what makes the Steemit Memory Game fun, each and every time! 🚀🔥
