Today once again, I sat down to play the Steemit Memory Game, eager to see how today would turn out. Each day feels like a new challenge, and I’ve started enjoying the little surprises this game throws at me.

Sometimes the aftermath of a match is still fresh in my memory and that is what I told myself not to think too much and just play with intent.

And the game dawned and I was in a bit of a relaxed state as compared to the initial days. I tried to be slow and intentional with every turn and I reminded myself of being careful with my silly mistakes I have done in the past.

However, a couple of the combinations found their way in and every time I failed to make one of these pairings, I could not help but giggle at myself. 😅

As the round went on, I realised I wasn’t hurrying but my movements were a little higher than the previous day. It is the difficult part in this game because you think you are progressing, but sometimes the figures tell an opposite picture.

When I got the last pair matched, I got my results:

• Moves: 38
• Perfect Matches: 10
• Final Score: 1332 🎉

When I first read this I laughed. It was not my best score against the last few attempts, but not terrible as well. The time was slightly slower than that of yesterday and the moves were slightly more. Nonetheless, I was able to maintain consistency with 10 flawless matches and that gave me a pleasing feeling.

My Thoughts 💭

Today’s performance was a little step down from yesterday’s, but that’s part of the fun. The score of 1332 may not be my highest, yet it shows that each round has its own rhythm. Some days are faster, some days are cleaner, and some days… well, they keep you humble! 😂

The more I play, the more I realize this game is about patience, memory sharpness, and staying calm under pressure. Even when I don’t hit a great score, I enjoy the process of improving little by little.

Tomorrow, I’ll try again, and maybe I’ll break past my previous best. For now, I’ll celebrate this small win with a smile and look forward to the next round! 🚀🔥
