Australian War Memorial Canberra
The War Memorial of Australia is all about the display of World War 1 and 2 which was opened in 1941.
History
The Australian War Memorial honors the lives of Australian soldiers who died defending their homeland. Canberra is not an old city but they started planning a war memorial in 1925 and opened it for public in 1941. As the World Wars continued they kept adding the galleries.
This Art Gallery has a large number of real instruments and weapons from the battle field but I will show you the art pieces in this post.
Facade and architecture:
The history of Canberra is comparatively new and this war memorial was constructed in 1941 but they had started planning it in 1929 but opened in 1941. You will witness a classic art of Australian architecture, with a domed roof and wonderful geometrical designs.
Interior Atmosphere:
The Australian War Memorial comprises a number of world-class museums and art collections, and through these, the Australian and Allied peoples' experience of war in World War I and World War II is shown in detail, and the lasting impact it had on world society and the world.
As you know, museums help to remember, interpret and understand all this so these have their importance of their own and I will take you to one of the most famous one in the world which has perhaps the largest collection of various collections of World War-1 and World War-2 having the real equipment and photographs.
Sacrifice
Although the War Memorial covers a very large area and contains halls for various exhibits, including paintings, models and war exhibits such as tanks, weapons and finally a tribute to the fallen in war.
Experience:
During our last visit to Australian War Memorial we came across indigenous history and had the privilege of meeting the grand daughter of the martyr of the day.

This program is held in the last when officers address the gathering and then pay homage to select solder who sacrificed his life during the wars. The Memorial acknowledges one soldier's sacrifice everyday.
But here I will just take you to the art gallery.

Thank you so much @Suboohi, much appreciated!
Thank God for peace now in Australia. War has caused more harm than good. The art gallery tells a lot about the war so those born after the war can know about the story.
Haha, Australia was never at war dear friend, but this happened during World War 1 and 2 when as a part of world army Australians participated and sacrificed their lives. There is no possibility of war in this country due to its geological situation.
Yeah am aware of that I was referring based on the world war 1 and 2. It seems Australian Army are very strong.
