The Diary Game: A Day Of Mixed Feelings(09-09-2025)

Hello besties, hope you're good? It's @gracewealth01 and here's my dairy. Today's one of those days where I question my existence on earth, like it's really tough out here especially coming from a background with no name and you're trying to create one for yourself and not just that, being a girl on its own is another chaos.

Let me tell you all one of my experience today, so I went out to buy breakfast dressed in big tee and joggers and this huge man on the road excused me and asked where I'm heading, told him no where that I'm just taking a walk and he asked to take me out so we could have fun and also added he won't mind paying any amount I'd name. I was surprised because this is the first time someone is coming out as plain as this, I looked at myself to know if I'm not properly dressed because why not? I grew up to hear "you're addressed the way you're dressed" so where did I faulter in my dressing that brought such harassment? Don't know if harassment is the right word to use.

Well, I told him that I'm not interested, he should move to the next person. He said I'm being boogie and started saying so many other things, I walked past and ignored him. In fact, I almost returned home because that alone had ruined my day but managed to get to the restaurant. Okay, that's by the way. I woke up this morning and I felt like my stomach is folding up, since I woke up late, I took a walk to a nearby restaurant to buy breakfast so I won't pass out trying to make one myself. That's how I ran into the man that made me regret my existence because recounting each word he said to me because I turned down his offer breaks my heart a great deal.

I returned home after having breakfast, did my chores and took my bath. After that, I was still disturbed from that incident so I decided to go out again to get rid of the drama. I took a walk to my Aunty's shop, I don't really know her from anywhere but she's been so good to me like an aunt that's what I choose to call her my Aunty. This was I'm the afternoon, when I got to her shop, I gave her a tight hug and told her how much I've missed her. She had new stocks and I checked some out and bought one that caught my attention and I couldn't take my eyes off it.

I stayed with her in the shop till evening and helped in attending to her customers, I also told her of the back and forth I've been going through in school and she encouraged me to hang on that it's just for a while. I really appreciate my stay with her, I thanked her for her words of encouragement, paid for the stock I bought and took my leave. While heading home, I stopped at a shop to buy toothpaste, mine had finished in the morning and I needed to get a new one.

I began to prepare dinner when I got home, I madr porridge yam. It's been long I had such meal, I took my bath when it was ready before eating and after eating, I decided to bring my diary to my Steemit friends. Thanks besties for reading, hope to see you on my next blog.
