The Diary game. A Day of Duty and Simple Pleasures in the Countryside
Greetings, dear friends, how are you all? I hope you all are fine and enjoying your day. I wish for you all good health, wealth and a prosperous time ahead. Today I am here to share with you yet another day of my life and I hope you all will get time to read and know about one more day of my life and also find it worthwhile to read and vote.
Today, again, as per my habit, I got up early in the morning because the sun struck my eyes and made me uncomfortable in bed. Light is one of the major factors that can wake me up in any situation or condition, and it was the thing that actually woke me up today as well. Quickly after I got up, I performed ablution and then offered the morning prayer at the nearby mosque. After I was done with the prayers, I returned home to water the lawn and remove the unwanted weeds from it. Once I finished that, I did some physical exercises to help me stay fit and remain as nimble as a child throughout the day. It also helps me stay positive and build a positive mindset to face challenges with a positive attitude.
After I was done with the morning jokes, I had breakfast together with my parents, who had been waiting for me in the dining room. I had my breakfast a little quicker than usual because I had to leave for the district headquarters for audit purposes. For that, I also had to visit my office first to carry the files required for the audit. Since the audit team was hired by the district administration to check and ensure transparency in the work of our department, we needed to be very particular about the audit schedule. The team does not stay for long and sticks strictly to their schedule.
Today, I left for the office a little earlier than usual. As the district headquarters is about 30 km away from our block, I needed to reach the office before the regular timing to carry the files from the office lockers to the district headquarters. Upon reaching there, it wasn’t an easy stay because the district office is located in an open area without any trees, and the high temperature during the day made it difficult to stay. We couldn’t get the first slot and had to wait for the other blocks to finish. It was only later in the day, around 2:30 PM, that our turn came, and we had to be present before the audit team. Until then, it was quite difficult to stay there in such a harsh environment.
Later in the day, when the audit was finished at around 4 PM, I left along with my colleagues who had accompanied me to the district office. I had to drop them midway, and from there, I went to a nearby town to buy some bases, which we later installed along the path leading to my house. These days, I am engaged in aesthetic work at my place and am meticulously choosing things to beautify my house. Anyway, it was quite difficult to escape the heat, and the only relief I could get while travelling was by keeping the AC of my car on throughout the journey, which helped me to some extent.
Later in the day, after taking a nap, I went out to enjoy some breeze while being amidst beautiful trees in one of my orchards close to my place. Staying in the countryside is quite a blessing, and these days one can truly realize how beautiful it is to live on the outskirts of the city. The cool breeze that blows in the evenings feels like a divine connection and brings immense relief.
