The diary game. A Day of Prayer, Gardening, and Apple Harvest in the Valley
Hello, dear friends! How is everyone doing? I hope you are all well and enjoying your time with your loved ones, no matter where you are. Today, I want to share another day of my life with you all. I hope you find some time to read my post and that you find it enjoyable enough to upvote.
It was quite early in the morning when I got up, irritated by the chirping of birds that had gathered at the window of my room to start their day. Without any hesitation, I quickly got out of bed and went to purify myself for the morning prayers, as I usually offer my prayers in the nearby mosque along with the community.
Thus, I started my day by paying gratitude and embracing a positive vibe for the day. It also gave me some energy that helps me overcome challenges without any hindrance. After making supplications, I headed back home and straightaway got into some gardening work, as I am quite enthusiastic about maintaining the aesthetics of my place. I usually dedicate a part of my morning to activities that help make my surroundings look good. I watered the lawn and made the soil soft before removing weeds, then placed different plants in appropriate spots—some in the shade and others in open sunlight.
Only after I was done with gardening did I go for a walk. Walking early in the day helps me burn some of the calories I consume due to my complicated lifestyle, as is the case with most people here in the valley. Walking through the orchards serves multiple purposes at once: I get the opportunity to inspect the orchard and check if there’s any need for pesticides or signs of disease in the crop.
After burning enough calories, I returned home, took a shower, and then joined my parents in the dining room—they were already waiting for me. Only after having my breakfast did I get ready for the day’s main activity: harvesting apples in a far-off orchard located at the top of a hill. The orchard has an onerous terrain, and going there on foot is always difficult. For that reason, I took my powerful Mahindra car to reach the orchard easily and also to bring back some apple containers later in the day.
Upon reaching there, I got straight to work. I actually enjoy this activity, as it brings with it a special autumn vibe—something truly unique and alluring in the valley, making it hard to stay away from such experiences. The aroma of the apples is so pleasing, and the sight of the trees is equally delightful.
Throughout the day, I took various photographs of the landscape, which I’ve shared here on my blog. I usually try to capture such moments to make these days memorable and vivid for the rest of my life. We did a good job throughout the day. I had my brother and father with me, and we made good use of the holiday to work in our orchard. We harvested a good quantity of apples and also sent the consignment home during the day.
Later in the evening, we were quite exhausted, but with so many beautiful views on offer from all sides, the exhaustion didn’t feel bad at all. While heading back home, I had to drive very carefully, as I already mentioned—the landscape is quite difficult there, and maneuvering through sharp curves and edges requires extra caution.
At around 9:30 PM, I had my dinner, and by 11:45 PM, I went to sleep and called it a day.
Thank you for going through my post. Have a great time ahead.
