The Diary game. A Day of Rest, Orchard Work, Iftaar Preparations, and Spiritual Reflections
Greetings, dear friends, how are you all? I hope you all are fine and enjoying your day. I wish for you all good health, wealth and a prosperous time ahead. Today I am here to share with you yet another day of my life and I hope you all will get time to read and know about one more day of my life and also find it worthwhile to read and vote.
The holy month of the Islamic calendar is coming to an end. It comes with a lot of blessings and mercy and is always admired by Muslims all around the world. However, as it is coming to an end, Muslims across the world are emotional since this month is full of blessings, mercy, care, and compassion. People care for each other and give a lot in charity to help those in need. They also have a good time together.
For me, Ramadan holds a very special place in my heart as it brings peace and a sense of prosperity. I strongly feel that Ramadan should last as long as a year. I truly believe in Ramadan, which is also considered a month of mercy. Most Muslims across the globe have succeeded in achieving the true goals of this month. Even though I may not have performed as many good deeds as required, I still believe I will be able to achieve what this month is intended for.
Today, I got up early in the morning at 4 AM and performed ablution straight away to purify myself for the religious rites that were to follow. First, I had a pre-dawn meal, and then, after waiting for a while, I sat right beside the electric heat blower. I then went to the nearby mosque for the morning prayers. These days, a lot of people can be seen moving towards the mosque early in the morning, whereas on other days, not as many people offer the morning prayers in the mosque. However, during Ramadan, fasting is of no avail if prayers are not performed. For that reason, Muslims across the globe try to perform prayers alongside fasting and comply with religious tenets.
Today, I had taken a day off from the office. In fact, our boss had given us the day off because we had been continuously working for the past one and a half weeks. We had been involved in office work for the financial year closing, which required us to stay in the office even on holidays. For that reason, our boss allowed us to have some time at home.
Today, my uncles and I had to go to a far-off orchard—our ancestral one—where we had to spray orchard oil over the apple trees, thus embarking on a new journey of the horticultural year. For spraying the oil, we needed to hire a tractor and carry some water to the orchard. We started our work at around 11 AM, and it lasted until the afternoon, around 3 PM. It was quite a tiring job, especially since I was fasting and, as such, couldn’t even have a sip of water. I was exhausted, and my throat had dried up.
However, it was a great time out in the orchard, as the onset of spring brings immense happiness and excitement among the people and instills great energy in the farmers. The slight greenish transition of the landscape is truly captivating, offering a view that mesmerizes the eyes and absorbs one in the beauty of the scene for eternity.
It was also quite a sunny day, and the warmth of the sun made life pleasant and easy. Later in the day, we returned home.
Upon reaching home, I went straight to take a bath and refresh myself. Then, I took a short nap to recharge. After waking up, I got involved in preparing for Iftaar—breaking the fast. By the time I finished, it was almost time to break the fast.
After breaking the fast, I went for the evening prayers at the mosque. Upon returning, I had an early dinner. Later at night, I went to the village mosque to offer the Isha prayers. On my way, I met an old friend, with whom I spent some time before heading to the mosque.
Later, I returned home, and at around 10:30 PM, I went to bed and called it a day.
It was all about my day.Thank you for going through my post. Have a great time ahead.
