Hello, dear friends! How is everyone doing? I hope you are all well and enjoying your time with your loved ones, no matter where you are. Today, I want to share another day of my life with you all. I hope you find some time to read my post and that you find it enjoyable enough to upvote.

It was Sunday today, and I had a lot of things to do at home. For that reason, I got up very early in the day and didn’t hesitate or procrastinate. As already said, I had many tasks to do at the moment. Straight away, I purified myself and went to the nearby mosque for prayer, and as such, I started my day asking for blessings from the Almighty, paying Him gratitude, and thanking Him for everything I have in my life. After I finished my prayers, I returned home to do some gardening. As I usually do very early in the day, I tidied the lawn, removed the weeds, and then placed different plants in their appropriate spots to help them grow well.

After completing the gardening work, I went for a walk, mainly towards the orchard. These days, going deeper into the orchards alone can be quite risky, as wild animals can be seen, especially as the temperature falls and these animals migrate towards lower areas in search of prey. For example, these wild animals usually attack sheep or other livestock. Fortunately, no one living in this area has been harmed by these animals yet, so people move freely without fear. But being cautious, I didn’t go deep into the orchards and returned home from the village periphery, mainly occupied by villagers. After breaking enough sweat and burning calories, I returned home quickly because I had to leave for one of my orchards with my father and the laborers who were there to help with apple harvesting.

After getting fresh and having breakfast, I quickly went outside to make arrangements for the necessary items for harvesting. I located baskets, which are very useful in carrying apples, and other containers needed to transport the apples back home. Around 10 AM, we left for the orchard. It took more than 20 minutes to reach there, and on the way, I got stuck behind a large herd of sheep run by nomads who usually move from Jammu to Kashmir in early summer and return to Jammu at this time of the year. This delay cost me some time, but thankfully, our laborers had already arrived and started their work.

Upon reaching the orchard, I immediately began working, as I couldn’t rely solely on the laborers. They usually work slowly, and we needed to carry back the apples in full-capacity loads for the goods carrier. The orchard has been ours for the last 50 or 60 years, and the presence of huge apple trees always brings peace and a pleasing sight.

It took the whole day, and we were not able to achieve our target, but we continued working until 5:30 PM. Meanwhile, we had a few cups of tea and some snacks throughout the day. Around 6 PM, we left the orchard after packing the apple boxes and placing them in one of the orchard corners. These apples still needed to be carried back home and packed properly.

It was very late when we returned home. My father was exhausted, and so was I. Although we didn’t do this kind of work regularly, we got tired quickly, especially as we hadn’t eaten much during the day. Around 7 PM, we returned home. My father stayed in his place without moving an inch until dinner time. At 9:30 PM, we had dinner. After that, I started scrolling through Instagram reels, and around 11:30 PM, I went to sleep.
