The diary game. “A Peaceful Autumn Morning and a Day of Purpose”

in Hindwhale Community7 days ago

Hello, dear friends! How is everyone doing? I hope you are all well and enjoying your time with your loved ones, no matter where you are. Today, I want to share another day of my life with you all. I hope you find some time to read my post and that you find it enjoyable enough to upvote.

As the autumn season approaches and the temperature has started to drop slightly, the mornings have begun to get cooler. Early in the morning, I was enjoying the warmth of my quilt, but the birds living nearby had different plans. They began their day early by chirping near the open windows of my room and balcony, which made me uncomfortable in bed. I quickly got up and went to perform ablution for the morning prayers. These prayers help me attain peace and embrace positivity, which not only keeps me in a positive mindset throughout the day but also helps me face challenges with a better attitude. The early prayers help me remain calm and composed in difficult situations.

After finishing my prayers and making supplications, I returned home and immediately began my routine gardening work. I usually dedicate my morning hours to such activities, as gardening early in the day helps me feel refreshed and connected to nature. Since I’m quite enthusiastic about maintaining the aesthetics of my place, I make good use of the morning time by watering the lawn, removing weeds, and placing different plants in suitable spots ,some in the shade and some in the sunlight.

Once I finished gardening, I set off for a walk. The walk serves multiple purposes—it helps me burn calories and also allows me to examine the fruits growing in our orchard at the periphery of the village. This morning walk is vital not just for my health but also for our livelihood, as the fruits are to be exported in a couple of weeks. If the market for apples is favorable, we might earn a good return on the hard work we’ve put in over the year.

After returning, I took a shower and joined my family in the dining room for breakfast. Once I completed my morning routine, I got ready for work and left quickly, as I’m currently posted at the district headquarters located about 35 km from my home. This requires me to leave earlier than I did when I was posted in my home block.

Upon reaching the office, I immediately got involved in my regular work of digitizing revenue records along with other revenue officials posted there. This work has been an enriching experience for me, as I enjoy learning about revenue documentation and understanding how the records are maintained. It has provided me with insights that I’m grateful to have at this stage in life—knowledge that many may not get the opportunity to acquire.

Later in the day, after finishing my work, I went to visit a friend who works in the Assistant Commissioner Panchayat office at Budgam. Upon reaching there, I was surprised to see many garbage-collecting vehicles parked, including the one hired for our own block. Upon inquiring, I found out that a “Swachh Bharat” campaign event was being held at Gulmarg and all these vehicles had been assembled for the occasion.

There were a few people in the office whom I already knew, and it’s always a pleasure to meet them as they greet me warmly and with friendly gestures. Later in the day, I had to accompany my aunt back to her home. She had been staying with us for the past 10 to 15 days as she was unwell and had come to rest. Now that she was feeling better, it was time for her to return, and I needed to drop her home.

My cousin, who is very affectionate toward me, insisted that I accompany him as well, and it was difficult to refuse. It was quite late at night by the time we returned. When I reached home, my mother was waiting for me—it was around 11:30 PM. I went straight to bed and ended my exhausting day.

Thank you for going through my post. Have a great time ahead.
