The diary game. A Peaceful Day of Prayer, Gardening, and Autumn Reflections
Hello, dear friends! How is everyone doing? I hope you are all well and enjoying your time with your loved ones, no matter where you are. Today, I want to share another day of my life with you all. I hope you find some time to read my post and that you find it enjoyable enough to upvote.
I am an early bird and I get up very early in the day. To my help come the birds who live in the vicinity of my house and start chirping on the open windows and the balcony, which makes some irritating noise and helps me get up. After purifying myself for the morning prayers—prayers being a fundamental part of our religion, especially the early morning prayer which holds great importance and should be offered in congregation—I proceeded to the mosque. Upon reaching there, I saw that all the people had already arrived and were about to start the prayers. I prayed and then made supplications. I spent about one and a half hours in the mosque, which helped me seek blessings from the Almighty, strengthen my connection with Him, and embrace some positivity and a strong feeling of prosperity.
On finishing the prayers, I returned home and straightaway got into some gardening work. It has been my routine and hobby, and I actually spent a good amount of time making my place look nice. After completing the gardening work, I went for a walk along the road towards a nearby village. A lot of people could be seen walking and jogging along the road. Walking has now become an important part of people’s lifestyle to stay healthy and burn calories.
Today was an off day for me, and I had no official work at hand. For that reason, I was quite relaxed and had time for every activity. Upon returning from the walk, I took some rest, freshened up, and then joined my parents in the dining room for breakfast. It was already a little late—almost 10 AM. After breakfast, as my cousin had already arrived at my place, I got busy with him, playing some games to keep him engaged so that he wouldn’t insist on returning to his home, as he usually does. He is not used to staying with us without his mother.
After breakfast, I stayed outside to enjoy the bright sunshine. As it’s already the autumn season here, the sunshine is quite pleasing. The intensity of the sun has decreased, and it’s quite pleasant to stay out in the sun. Until lunchtime, I did some minor chores around the house. In the afternoon, we decided to go to our orchard located at the top of a hill to bring home some apples that were ready for harvest. I took my mother with me, along with some containers, and we started making our way towards the orchard.
My mother, who is weak due to thrombocytopenia, didn’t have much strength to climb the hill. But her strong desire to recover and feel healthy again made her climb each step with determination. I took her with me not only to let her have a walk around the village but also to make her feel strong and capable. We harvested the apples and then returned home.
Upon reaching home, I didn’t see my cousin around. He had been locked in a room by my father along with two more cousins, and they were busy playing with toys. This was done because, in my absence, he tends to get out on the road, and there’s always a fear of accidents with vehicles passing by.
Later in the day, I took a nap as I was already exhausted. Then, very late in the evening, around 8:30 PM, I decided to do some cleaning. I operated the vacuum cleaner and cleaned the room, as a lot of dust had accumulated there. The room is adjacent to the road, and a lot of dust flies in due to vehicles passing by. It settles on the windows, curtains, and mat. It was important to clean the room as it wasn’t comfortable to sit there due to the dusty smell.
I had my dinner around 9:30 PM and then went to sleep.
Thank you for going through my post. Have a great time ahead.
