The diary game. A Rare Day Off Filled with Hard Work, Orchard Visits, and Moments of Relaxation

in Hindwhale Community17 days ago

Hello, dear friends! How is everyone doing? I hope you are all well and enjoying your time with your loved ones, no matter where you are. Today, I want to share another day of my life with you all. I hope you find some time to read my post and that you find it enjoyable enough to upvote.

I got up a little late today because I could not sleep well throughout the night due to some unknown reasons. I felt thirsty the entire night and only got some sleep in the morning. After waking up a little late, I started my day by offering the morning prayers at home. Only then did I begin my day.

Today, I had taken leave from the office, and for that reason, I was quite relaxed about my day’s assignments. After finishing the prayers, I went outside to the garden, did some gardening for a while, and then went on a walk toward the orchards located on the periphery of the village. I spent a good amount of time jogging and breaking a sweat, helping myself burn some calories.

I also got an opportunity to have a look at the apples we’ve been growing in our orchards, where we’ve put in a lot of hard work throughout the year to raise a quality crop. Once I was satisfied with the amount of sweat I had broken, I returned home to have my breakfast. Only after completing all my morning chores did I sit down with my parents in the dining room for breakfast.

After finishing breakfast, I took some rest and then waited for the cycle laborer to arrive for packing the apples into carton boxes, which we are going to export in a few days. For this, I had to arrange various items like boxes, paper, wrapping materials, etc., that are required for the work.

Upon his arrival, I immediately started helping him arrange different things as per the requirements. It was around 10 AM when we started the actual packing work. I wasn’t allowed to move an inch from the site, as I had a lot of work at hand and was in no position to leave.

By the time it was afternoon, I was still at the site, helping the person with various tasks. Then I went to offer the afternoon prayers at the grand mosque of the village, which also gave me an escape from work and an opportunity to spend some time with my friend in the market.

Later, I returned home and resumed the work, continuing until 6 PM. It was quite an exhausting day for me, as doing such labor-intensive work all day isn’t my norm. Today’s task was something out of the box for me.

After we finished the work and cleared the area, my mother asked me to bring groceries and other kitchen items from the market. I got another opportunity to meet my friends in the evening, and this time, I was quite relieved as I had no more work and plenty of time to spend with them.

Only after buying the items did I return home and then sit with my parents in the living room. Later, around 9:30 PM, I had my dinner. Since the ICC Cricket World Cup is going on, I stayed up and watched TV until the match was over. It was around 12 AM when I finally went to sleep. I was feeling quite sleepy as I hadn’t had a good night’s rest, so I straightaway fell into deep sleep without wasting any time on screens.

Thank you for going through my post. Have a great time ahead.
