The Diary game. Eid Celebrations: A Day of Joy, Togetherness, and Festive Spirit
Greetings, dear friends, how are you all? I hope you all are fine and enjoying your day. I wish for you all good health, wealth and a prosperous time ahead. Today I am here to share with you yet another day of my life and I hope you all will get time to read and know about one more day of my life and also find it worthwhile to read and vote.
The holy month of Ramadan came to an end, and at the culmination of this beautiful month—full of vibes, charity, compassion, and care—the entire Muslim Ummah across the world is rewarded with the festival of Eid-ul-Fitr. As per Islamic tenets, Ramadan is the best opportunity to seek repentance and ask for Allah’s mercy for any wrongdoings committed throughout one’s life. The end of Ramadan also closes the doors to easy repentance, and one who couldn’t get their sins forgiven during this month is truly the most unfortunate person on this planet.
As Ramadan has now ended, it marks the beginning of a new journey, and for this, we have to acclimate ourselves back to our usual lifestyle that runs throughout the year, except during Ramadan. Today, I got up a little later than during Ramadan, as no pre-dawn meal was required. Upon waking, I had to attend the morning prayers at the mosque.
No doubt, I was happy to have almost fulfilled all the rituals of Ramadan, but deep down, I felt a sense of missing the vibes of the month, along with the realization that the opportunity for easy repentance had passed. As I reached the mosque, a huge gathering had already assembled, standing in lines. I attended the morning prayer, and after spending a good amount of time making supplications, I headed back home to have something to eat. I felt hungry due to the routine meals we had throughout Ramadan, which had conditioned my body to such a schedule, making it feel as though I had butterflies in my stomach.
After finishing my prayers, I returned home, had something to eat, and then went straight to my lawn to water the grass. I managed to complete this task before the special Eid prayers. For the Eid prayer, I went to the Jama Masjid of the village, where the prayer started at 9 AM.
Here, I had the opportunity to meet my friends and other members of my community who usually work outside the area and rarely visit their hometown. It is only on such occasions that we get to see these people, and it always feels heartwarming to see them back in the village.
After finishing the congregational Eid prayers, I headed back home to have something to eat. Firecrackers started bursting outside, marking the onset of the festive season here in the valley.
I spent a good amount of time helping my friend in the village market, where he owns a shop. On the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, he needed my help, and I was there to assist him. After spending a couple of hours at his shop, helping him sell toys and other items, my other friends asked me to accompany them for a round around the area. Since it was the only day when all of us friends were available, and I didn’t want to miss the opportunity to have a good time with them, I couldn’t refuse and left with them in one of my friend’s cars.
While I was out with my friends, I got to see a different part of my area that I rarely visit, and it was quite a beautiful sight. The almond blossoms decorated the place with white flowers all around, creating an enchanting view.
Later, we headed back home after touring the area, passing through several villages, and observing how Eid was being celebrated. In the evening, we all gathered at our friend’s shop in the market, helped him with various tasks, and also spent some good time together.
Before heading home, we offered the evening prayers. Upon reaching my place, I had dinner, after which I retired for some sleep, as my aching legs didn’t allow me to stay awake any longer. I couldn’t help but sleep a little earlier than usual.
It was all about my day.Thank you for going through my post. Have a great time ahead.
