The Diary game. From Dawn Prayers to Late-Night Travels: A Day Full of Purpose and Companionship
Greetings, dear friends, how are you all? I hope you all are fine and enjoying your day. I wish for you all good health, wealth and a prosperous time ahead. Today I am here to share with you yet another day of my life and I hope you all will get time to read and know about one more day of my life and also find it worthwhile to read and vote.
I’m an early bird who rises early and takes the different natural signs as blessings—like the birds chirping on the windows of my room and on the open balcony located right beside it, and the sun that pierces through the curtains of my room and strikes my eyes, making me uncomfortable in bed. Without hesitation, I get up and prepare myself for the morning prayer, as prayers are the fundamentals of our religion. Praying early in the morning is always positive and peaceful. Only after I performed ablution did I straightaway go to the nearby mosque for the morning prayers, where people had already gathered and just a few minutes were left for the prayers to start. I was there and stood in the first row. In this way, I am at peace and filled with positivity very early in the day, which also helps me face challenges with a positive attitude later on.
The prayer is followed by making supplications and presenting my matters before the Almighty, thereby establishing a divine connection with God. I left for my place and straightaway got into some gardening work, as I am quite enthusiastic about maintaining the aesthetics of my plants. I usually water the lawn very early in the day, then look for any weeds that may have grown and remove them, and then place different plants in their appropriate spots. Later, I went for a walk towards the orchard, where the breeze is quite pleasing and overwhelming, sometimes making me stay there for a while to embrace the beauty and countless blessings of nature. Only after I was done with sweating enough and burning calories did I return home to join my parents, who were already in the dining room waiting for me to have breakfast with them.
After I was done with all my morning chores, I left for the office, where I had to dive into some routine work, such as checking photographs on the NMMS portal, which is intended to ensure the workers are present at the work sites. Although the work could otherwise be done using machinery, the program is designed to provide employment to the unemployed people of rural areas. It’s quite important to ensure that employment reaches the targeted population. After that, I addressed the problems of some clients who had been waiting for me to finish my first task, and I was happy to help them. That is what we are here for, and whenever I see a client getting satisfied with the work we do and the expectations they come with, it feels fulfilling.
Later in the afternoon, I accompanied one of my friends who is going to get married in just a couple of days. Unfortunately for him, he doesn’t have a brother to help him during this crucial time of his life, and I, being his friend since childhood, am always there to support him. Today, he had to buy various things required for his marriage ceremony, including attire to be worn on different occasions. I was happy to help, as he has always stood by me in both good and bad times. I took him to Srinagar along with some other friends who were already waiting for us. While we were on our way to Srinagar city, having several people with us helped a lot, as they were able to locate shops easily and compare items, ensuring we bought the right things and didn’t overpay. It was quite enjoyable for us, and we had a lot of fun while travelling and shopping—it felt more like a day out after a long time.
Late in the day, we spent the whole evening in Srinagar city, enjoying the sights and having some food. We left Srinagar at around 8:30 PM, and at around 9 PM we reached one of our favourite restaurants, famous for its fried fish. We stayed there and waited for our order for more than 20 minutes, during which we found a corner of the restaurant where we could sit comfortably. At around 10:30 PM, I reached home, and while driving back, I covered the distance quickly—it took us only about 20 minutes to reach. Upon arriving home, I refreshed myself, and then, without having dinner—since I had already eaten snacks and fried fish in the market—I straightaway went to bed at 11 PM.
It was all about my day.Thank you for going through my post. Have a great time ahead.
