The Diary game. “From Dawn to Dusk: A Fulfilling Day of Routine and Responsibility”
Greetings, dear friends, how are you all? I hope you all are fine and enjoying your day. I wish for you all good health, wealth and a prosperous time ahead. Today I am here to share with you yet another day of my life and I hope you all will get time to read and know about one more day of my life and also find it worthwhile to read and vote.
I got up quite early in the morning, as I have a habit of rising early and getting out of bed as soon as possible to maximise my day and get enough time to complete my daily routine activities. After getting up, I purified myself by performing ablution and then went to offer prayers at the nearby mosque. Thus, I started my day with a sense of peace, prosperity, and a positive vibe that I embraced there in the mosque while establishing a connection with the Divine.
After the prayers, I made some supplications and then headed back home. Upon reaching my place, I straightaway got into some gardening work, as I’m quite enthusiastic about maintaining the aesthetic of my home. It helps make the house look good, and I usually dedicate some of my morning time to maintaining the lawn and placing vases in different spots—some plants need to be kept in the shade, while others require direct sunlight. I watered the lawn and, as it softened, I looked for any weeds that needed to be removed.
Upon finishing, I still had enough time to do some physical exercises to help myself stay fit and healthy. A few days earlier, I had eaten some high-calorie chicken momos from a restaurant, and being health-conscious, I usually keep such things in mind. I’m always looking for time to burn excess calories and stay in shape. I broke a sweat, and once I was fully drenched, I took some rest. After my sweat dried up, I took a bath, and only after finishing all my morning activities did I join my parents in the dining room for breakfast, as they were already waiting for me and I didn’t want to keep them waiting for long.
After finishing everything, I dived into my official routine by getting ready and leaving for the office around 9:45 AM. Upon reaching, I straightaway started my official work of checking the attendance photographs that field workers upload on the online portal. These need to be scrutinized, as some employees sometimes use manipulation techniques to escape the rigidity of the rules in operation. I checked these photos on different screens—laptop and mobile.
After finishing this task, I had to register employment demands submitted by local people from some villages. These people had already submitted their applications to the field employees, who had forwarded them to me to upload on the online portal. It took some time, and after completing these tasks, I was feeling hungry—it was time for lunch.
Quickly after lunch, I processed some payments for workers involved in executing developmental works under the Mahatma Gandhi National Employment Guarantee Programme. These payments need to be made well within time, as any delay leads to compensation penalties, which is considered a disgrace for the district and the block as well.
Later in the day, I accompanied my friends to Srinagar city, where we had to submit our forms at the Public Service Commission office. These forms are meant to give us an opportunity to appear in the departmental promotion examination. Later, my colleagues and I spent some good time at a restaurant in Srinagar that we usually visit to enjoy ourselves.
Our return ride was around 8 PM, and I reached home later. After taking some rest, I went out to buy groceries needed at home. I returned from the market around 9:30 PM, had my dinner, and finally went to sleep around 11:30 PM, calling it a day.
It was all about my day.Thank you for going through my post. Have a great time ahead.
