The Diary game. From Morning Prayers to Orchard Walks and Independence Day Festivities
Greetings, dear friends, how are you all? I hope you all are fine and enjoying your day. I wish for you all good health, wealth and a prosperous time ahead. Today I am here to share with you yet another day of my life and I hope you all will get time to read and know about one more day of my life and also find it worthwhile to read and vote.
Today, I started my day by offering the morning prayers just after I got up and purified myself by performing ablution. I couldn’t wait and went straight to the nearby mosque to be a part of the community prayers that we usually do in a group, as praying is a fundamental part of our religion. The significance of the morning prayer is quite huge, and taking it into consideration, one can hardly afford to skip it. I made supplications and surrendered all of my matters before the Almighty to take care of them, asking the Almighty to relieve me of any anxiety, pressure, and depression.
After spending about an hour in the mosque, I returned home and quickly got into some gardening work, as I usually do, because maintaining the aesthetics of my place is my priority. I do such things very early in the day to avoid any lethargy or laziness that might strike later. I watered the lawn, softened the soil, looked for any weeds that could have grown, removed them by pulling them out along with their roots, and then placed all the plants in their appropriate spots according to their requirements—some in the shade and some in open sunshine.
Today, I went on a walk towards the orchards located in the vicinity of our village. As the fruits have started ripening, such walks are quite pleasing, as they help me not only absorb positivity but also embrace the purity of nature and realize how important the preservation of the environment is. The colorful world around us is very important to preserve because it’s what makes life a good experience; otherwise, human life becomes nothing but a race filled with anxiety, competition, and other things that consume a person.
After returning from the walk, I straightaway went to take a shower, and after a quick bath, I joined my parents in the dining room, where they were already waiting for me to return. My brothers get up late and usually do not join us for breakfast. I set off for my office at around 9:45 AM, a little early to reach on time because these days, as we are going to celebrate Independence Day on the 15th of this month, we need to follow the schedule of activities that the government has come up with to instill nationalism and patriotism among the common masses.
Today was an exciting day for us because there was a stage performance of skits and folk songs, with local artists invited to perform. We had already arranged for bands to participate in these activities. To witness these performances, we invited people from the surroundings as well as from a nearby school. We enjoyed our time there—it was exciting, pleasing, and in addition to the entertainment, it carried the message that our nation should always be our first priority and nothing should be valued more than it.
It was a day-long program. Our spirits were high, and even the scorching heat couldn’t beat us. It was thrilling to see people participating with such enthusiasm in the activities organized as part of the run-up to Independence Day. My friend, who usually brings fruits from his home as they own a large area of land with different trees, brought some green almonds today. They were very tasty, and we enjoyed them together in my cabin. A few more colleagues joined us, and we shared the almonds with them, and everyone praised their taste.
It was quite an experience for me to enjoy such fresh green almonds at this time of the year when most fruits have ripened and are ready to be harvested. After enquiring from my friend, I learned that these almonds were new to this land, imported, and of a high-density variety that is commercially very significant.
Later, I returned home at about 4 PM. I had a headache from being out in the scorching heat throughout the day. Upon reaching home, I went straight to my room to take a nap. After waking up, I felt fresh and relaxed, and only then was I able to eat something; otherwise, I had been feeling dizzy. Later, I went to one of my orchards, where I enjoyed some time breathing in the fresh air and enjoying the cool atmosphere. At around 9:30 PM, we had dinner, and after spending some time on social media, I retired to sleep.
It was all about my day.Thank you for going through my post. Have a great time ahead.
