The Diary game. Prayers, Gardening, Office Work, and Evening Reflections
Greetings, dear friends, how are you all? I hope you all are fine and enjoying your day. I wish for you all good health, wealth and a prosperous time ahead. Today I am here to share with you yet another day of my life and I hope you all will get time to read and know about one more day of my life and also find it worthwhile to read and vote.
I was up very early in the morning, as I have a habit of rising early. Helping me with this routine are the birds living in the vicinity, which start chirping at the open windows of my room and act as a natural alarm to wake me up. They seem to have an attraction towards me and come to get me up. Getting up straightaway, I went to purify myself by performing ablution and headed for prayers in the nearby mosque. Thus, I started my day by establishing a divine connection with Allah, bringing peace, prosperity, and a positive vibe that I carry with me throughout the day.
After making supplications, I headed back home and got straight to work—maintaining the lawn, placing vases in their appropriate spots—some plants needed shade, while others needed to be in the open. I watered the plants along with the lawn, and only after softening the soil with water did I look for weeds and remove them, as they could otherwise spoil the aesthetics of my place.
After finishing the gardening, I did some physical exercises to help myself stay fit and agile throughout the day, and also to burn some calories that might otherwise accumulate and lead to serious health issues. In today’s world, where health problems are common, dedicating time and energy to maintaining one’s health is crucial. Being a health-conscious person, I usually try to spend enough time burning calories and staying nimble. I also make an effort to take part in every activity that requires physical effort, as such tasks contribute to my overall well-being.
Only after breaking a sweat did I take some rest, and then went inside to take a shower. After the shower, I quickly joined my parents for breakfast, as they were already waiting for me. Once I was done with my morning chores, I got ready for the office. Today, I had to reach the office on time actually before 10 AM so I left quickly, and as soon as I reached, I dived straight into my routine work.
We had some additional tasks today, as a number of grievances had been filed by citizens that needed to be addressed within the deadline set under the Right to Information Act of the Government of Jammu and Kashmir. This Act requires replies within a month, and any delay can lead to fines if claimed by the applicants. Therefore, the required information had to be compiled and shared with the concerned individuals. It’s a vital step to maintain transparency in government departments. Handling such tasks now demands a good amount of manpower, as the number of applications has increased significantly. While most offices have a separate section to deal with this, ours does not, so a few officials manage these responsibilities along with their regular duties.
After completing my assigned work—such as managing online portals related to employment generation schemes—I helped my colleague compile the necessary information. It was quite hot inside our office chambers due to a power cut caused by a long shutdown from the Power Department. Our ACs and fans weren’t working, which gave me a severe headache. It was only in the afternoon that we stepped out to a nearby shop to eat something, as we hadn’t eaten all day.
Later, once office hours ended, my colleagues and I left for a nearby town, where we had some tea to get some relief. I was especially eager to have tea, as my headache was persistent, and the only thing that could relieve it was a strong cup of tea. After spending about half an hour at a local dhaba, I went to buy groceries that my family had asked for.
At around 6 PM, I reached home. Without eating anything, I took a nap to refresh myself and regain some energy. I woke up at 8:30 PM and after a short while, I went out for a walk. Around 9:30 PM, we had dinner, after which I browsed through social media for a while. Finally, around 11:30 PM, I went to sleep and called it a day.
It was all about my day.Thank you for going through my post. Have a great time ahead.
This was such a nice and peaceful story to read. I really like how you started your day early with the sound of birds. It shows how close you are to nature. The way you went straight for ablution and prayer was also very inspiring. Starting the day with prayer and talking to Allah truly brings peace, and I can feel that from the way you wrote.
Your time in the garden was also very good. Taking care of plants and flowers, knowing which one needs sun or shade, and removing weeds shows you care about your surroundings. It's something we often forget to do, but it matters a lot.
I also respect how you make time for exercise. Health is really important, and it’s great that you understand that and take action. Your whole morning routine from prayer to gardening to fitness is a perfect example of living a balanced life. Thanks for sharing. It really made me think about how I start my own day.
