The diary game ||Better Life with Steem|| Happy Independence Day
Hi friends,
I am Jyoti from India.
Yesterday, August 15, the 79th India's Independence Day was celebrated across the country. This day was celebrated in all schools and colleges in the country, and the national flag was hoisted and respected. It was a big ceremony held in all colleges, all government offices, and all school halls. This ceremony was also held in my son's school. At the same time, this ceremony was also held in my daughter's college. Since my daughter is in the NCC, she was given an award this time. Therefore, instead of sending my son to school to watch the award ceremony, I took him to my daughter's college yesterday.
The function was supposed to start at 8 am. My daughter is staying in the college hostel, so she woke up early in the morning and put on her NCC uniform and all its accessories since she had to attend the parade at the function. We left home at around 6 am, as it was about an hour and a half's journey from home to the college, so we left at 6 am.
Accordingly, we reached the college at around 7:30 am. By then, my daughter and her friends were all ready in their NCC uniforms. The stage decoration was going on. Miniatures of items like the India map and PSLV rockets, Rafael fighter aircraft etc. were made there for the stage decoration. We stood in front of them and took pictures. We also had my daughter's friends stand and take pictures. It was neat and very beautiful to see them in uniform. I was proud to see them in uniform. Similarly, I wish to see her as an officer.
It was going to start raining in a while, so my daughter went to stand and take the name. The village where the ceremony was taking place had a small stage decorated. In front of it, the students were lined up according to their category. NSS students were lined up on one side, Yoga students on the other, Sports students on the other side, and NCC students on the other side.
The function was presided over by the principal of the college, and HODs and professors were present. A retired airport officer was present as the chief guest, and after welcoming him and paying honor to him, the national flag was hoisted. After saluting the national flag, the NCC students first marched. Following them, NSS and Yoga and Sports students marched. The students themselves played musical instruments and played drums. The parade was very beautiful to watch, especially my daughter who was marching from it, which made us very proud. I took her photograph myself.
After that, awards and prizes were given to the students. NCC students were given promotional banks. My daughter was promoted this time, so she was given a corporal bank. I was very proud when I went to the stage to buy it. Then I took her photo.
Following that, the hostess gave details about the chief guest and then called him to the stage to speak. He gave a motivational speech to the students and about the freedom of the country for 10 minutes. He was then presented with a memento. Then the art programs began. The first program was a beautiful speech by a student about freedom and the freedom struggle. This was followed by yoga programs. First, the students performed yoga, followed by the students performing yoga, and then the yoga teacher gave a tip.
After that, the students of the Fine Arts Department performed a cultural program. First, a student danced a Bharatanatyam dance to the song Vande Mataram. The dance was very good. It was clear that she was very trained. After that, three students performed a classical dance to the patriotic song. The dance was very good.
After that, the male and female students got together as a group and danced to two or three songs. Their dance was very beautiful. They all danced very beautifully. After that, breakfast was served to everyone. The breakfast consisted of idli, pongal, Medhu vada, Kesari, Chutney, sambar, etc. The breakfast was very delicious. After everyone ate, we took a picture in front of the stage. We spent some time there and left from there and returned home. Thus, yesterday was a very happy and pleasant day. Happy Independence Day to everyone.
