Good day steemians!

Every parentsfear is seeing their kid's eyes constantly glued in their gadgets. Due to that habbit, it raises concern to their health especially their eyes and brain, their studies because they will not love to anymore since they wanted to scan their phones and relationship because the more you use cellphones you cantj control your emotions and that will lead to arguments to your family or friends.

Instead of playing outside, talking with other kids or helping to household chores, many kids spend more hours scrolling their phones, playing online games or watching videos. That is why, I see to it that my daughter find something that made her busy.

Good thing, a month before the class started, the school where my daughter studied opened a summer class wherein they will be choosing learners who will participate the said activity. My daughter was not on the list but I tried to contact her adviser and asked her if my daughter could still join the activity. Good thing, the program was still open so my kid was able to participate it. In this program, they had volunteers from the DSWD group. They were the one prepared the materials for the kids as well as the teachers. What made it beautiful was the parents of the enrollees will also sit in to other classroom. And they will be having a seminar about parenting. And the best thing was they were given an allowance for coming to school and attending the seminar. And since I cant do it since I had some things to finish, I just let my sis-in-law sit in the class.

After 20 days of coming to school, they had a culmination day. The parents who actively participated as well as kids were given a certificate and a medal to recognize their hardwork. After the awarding, they had a salo-salo. The kids just ordered a fastfood packlunch while the parents brought something to share.

Their activity started at 8 in the morning and ended around 1 in the afternoon.

Unfortunately, I wasnt able to witness their culmination since I am at work. And when I arrived home, I just saw the awards of my kid placed on the table inside our room. She was so happy sharing her experience that time.

So sad, I wasnt able to go their but I am so proud of the kids achievement.
