Last week, we were asked to go my daughters school for a first Parents, Teachers Associations Meeting.

Attending it was more than a scheduled responsibility. It was an opportunity to attend the said meeting because the teachers will share to us how our kids perform in school. And its their world beyond our home. Sitting in that classroom while listening to their teacher, I can say how crucial our roles our mother in shaping our kids future. We parents were not just parents, but we were partners in education. We should learn hand in hand with the advisers of the kids to let them perform well in school. We must not just leave it to them. They will do their part, we should also do our part at home not just holding our phones nor doing some household chores.

During the meeting, we discussed a lot of things. Unfortunately, I wasnt able to come on time because I was still at work. I just undertime that time so I can listen to the meeting. We discussed about classroom policies like opening and closing of gates, wearing of uniforms and a lot more. We also discussed the academic goals, and the last part is aggreeing our PTA Donation. And we decided to give 200php (20 steem) per parent for the window and cr repair.

The good things in attending the meeting is that you are able to connect to other parents who will share same concerns of our kids. It was so good to know that were all in this together, we all had same goal, to help our kids perform well in school.

My kid is already 6 year old, in her young age I know that she is happy when I attended her meeting because she can see that I valued her education and I cared about her success. I want to do this to support her journey every step of the way. These meeting is not just about grades, but for me it is as well about building trust between home and school.

This is just a simple meeting but being involved in my daughters education is one of the greatest way that I may be able to show how I love and care my kid.

Thanks for reading!

Ciao!

You're a good mother!!! Attending the parent, teachers meeting really demonstrates your love and care towards your child and it will build a stronger bond between you two.

Growing up, most of us only prayed for your kind of mother who will always be present in our lives and activities but the reverse was the case.

It's left for us to build the life we dreamt of, for our kids and make sure they enjoy the privilege we didn't enjoy while growing up.

Keep being a great mom, much love.
