Making a saree for yourself.
Assalamu Alaikum friends. How are you all? I am also fine, Alhamdulillah, by the grace of Allah. There is a proverb that says, "Women in sarees". Bengali women mean sarees. Bengali women, no matter what they are, look incredibly beautiful in sarees. Bengali women love to wear sarees on any occasion. No matter how much western women wear, their true beauty shines in sarees. Sarees mean a noble quality of Bengali women.
Saree is my favorite outfit. I don't always wear saree, I wear it on occasion. I always buy designer sarees from the market and wear them. But this time I thought how would it be if I designed and made a saree myself, it would definitely not be bad. Let's take a look at my saree making journey. I don't know how much money and time I spent on making a saree.

Now let's find out how I designed this saree. Let's take a look at the materials I used to make my saree:
- White organdy fabric 6 yards.
- Red batik fabric 1.5 yards.
- Lacquer thread.
- B6000 glue.
- Needle 1.
- Wooden frame.
- Scissors.
- Sewing machine.
🥻 First, I wash the printed batik cloth, dry it well in the sun, and then iron it well.
🥻 Iron the cloth, cut it into long thin strips, and attach all the ends tightly.
🥻 Then I put the lace-like pieces of fabric around the white organdy fabric as a border.
🥻 Then I cut out small flowers for the achal and made applique.
🥻 First I glued the flowers and then I sewed buttons and stitches around the flowers with red thread.
It took me 2 days to make this saree. If I wanted, I could have done it in 1 day but I didn't do it under pressure, I finished it beautifully in time.
