Before i go ahead let me invite
Chebe Powder and Karkar Oil;. this are the two natural remedy that has help many Nigeria women stop hair breakage and boast growth, i will be sharing the detailed information about them below keep reading.
- Ingredients: Chebe powder (made from cherry seeds, cloves), Karkar oil (a mix of sesame oil and animal fat), shea butter.
- Process:
- Mix 2 tablespoons of Chebe powder with 1 tablespoon of Karkar oil and 1 tablespoon of shea butter.
- Dampen clean hair with water and apply the mixture from roots to ends.
- Braid the hair in sections and leave in for 3–5 days.
- Repeat twice weekly.
Why I Use It:
I use this remedy because it strengthens my hair strands, reduces breakage, and retains length. After using it for 2 months, my hair feels stronger, thicker, and I no longer dread combing it. The blend locks in moisture and stimulates the scalp without clogging pores.
Region/Culture:
This hair care technique originates from the Hausa and Fulani women of Northern Nigeria, who are known for their incredibly long, thick hair. Passed down through generations, it’s a cultural treasure!
Estimated Monthly Cost:
- Chebe powder (₦1,000 for 100g – lasts 1 month)
- Karkar oil (₦800 for 100ml – lasts 1 month)
- Shea butter (₦500 for 100g – lasts 1 month)
