The Diary Game: Staying Back At Home And Seeing My Chicken Die [08/08/2025]

Good day guys and welcome to another episode of my diary session, it's so good to be back here today, now I am feeling very much better so I will take my time and make sure I lead you all through how my day was, so stay glued here while I do it.

I took my bath and was about to go to work, then I stepped outside so that I could go out even with how the the rain was about to fall, poor me did not know that the rain had other plans for me. As I stepped outside to withdraw my transport fare, the rain began to fall, I was kind of surprised and confused of what to do. I just sat there and took selfies since I couldn't go out to work, I waited for long for the rain to stop but the momentum at which the rain was falling, it felt it won't even stop in the next 2 hours so I decided to go inside and lay on my bed till it comes down inorder for me to go to work.

The little breeze that came from my window just pet me to sleep, that was how I slept till 1pm and when I woke up, I realIzed It was already late and I couldn't go to work anymore so I reached out to my colleague and told him what happened, he told me there was no issue, I was glad so I decided to go back to my bed.

When I got inside, I dished plenty rice with beans and sat down to finish it all alone, I wanted to just get so tired that I wont be struggling to sleep and yes, that really worked out for me because after eating, I did not even know when I started sleeping, rain sleep is the most underrated kind of sleep, I think we have to revisit how it should because how would the sound of rain become therapeutic? You could sleep and forget yourself while it is raining and I did so, yes oo I am guilty of it.

When I woke up, I went outside to stay and just see how rain was doing, this was just 4pm and it was raining really heavy, the weather was still cloudy and you could think how these things happen like this, then you know it's God and not even human being can make this happen. I sat outside and lecture my students on my steemit mentorship group, those that were online attended the class and for those that weren't online, the class was recorded and shared on the group for those that will be coming online later.

When I went inside, I took money from my pocket and went outside to buy room freshener because the last one I had finished two days ago, so since I was not going to work, I had to use that transport fare to buy it, I just like nice scent both on me, my clothes box and even my room. When I got it, I went back inside a nd spray it to kill the bad odour that was coming from outside.

After I finished with that, I went to my small poultry to check if the chicken I administered the drugs too was doing well only to realize that it had died, I wasn't even pained again because I am expecting even the worse to happen, I took it and dug the ground then buried it.

When I finished burying the chicken, I came inside to have my dinner because the boy was very hungry again. After eating, I took a very hot bath and then I went inside, locked my door and began to share this diary, it's been a long time coming friends, I am glad I was able to share this diary with you all, till my next diary friends, do well to take care of yourselves and stay safe out there, much love from me to you all.
