The Diary Game: Repairing My Refrigerator (08/08/2025)

Today was just for rain, I don't know if it is the same thing in your area but over here, it is rain and rain. When I woke up, a customer called me that I should come and get some clothes at his house so that I could wash them. I did not spend another 30 minutes at home, I took my bath and I hurriedly went to get the clothes. When I came back, I dropped them at home and took our small fridge to the repairers shop to repair it. I was there throughout the morning and when I was done fixing it, I took it back home, it was a minor fault, the compressor was faulty and the guy was able to detect the fault and work on it.

When I took it home, my wife had already gone to the market so I had to restock the fridge myself, we only put petty things like drinks, water and egg here while the deep freezer is basically for food and foodstuffs. When I restocked it, I steamed it and waited for over 30 minutes then it started working and I left it there and went back to my shop to work. I started with washing the clothes I collected earlier this morning, then I went on to wash the other clothes in the shop, thank God I have dryer, how would I have been able to cope with wet clothes this rainy season? A lot of my colleagues that had the opportunity to get the dryer for themselves but did not are now envying me and wishing they had listened to me when I advised them to do so, and you know they can't bring their clothes when I am still working so the possibility of them using my machine is very lean.

I was hungry when I finished washing the clothes, I did not dry them yet, I just want to do it one step at a time. I took the plate in the shop and bought rice from the woman that sells food at the other side of the street. Though I don't like eating out like this but there are days that won't even permit you to go out talk more of waiting for my wife to cook and bring to the shop. I ate then I went to the shop opposite mine to buy Pepsi and drank it before going inside to continue my work.

I began to dry the clothes in the afternoon, then after drying them, I had to stay put and ironed some of the clothes I could, the only one I hand picked for tomorrow are people's senators, I like taking my time to iron them unlike shirts and trouser or jeans, senator materials any mistake you make will be very visible and my brand is all about quality delivery and that is why I don't joke with customers clothes. I worked till afternoon getting to evening time, since I had promised my wife that I would be coming back home to eat, I had to rush back home and eat the soup she prepared before I came back to the shop to continue what I was doing.

When I finished ironing some trousers, I checked the time and it was already 5pm when my son's holiday lesson will be closing for the day, I had to rush and go pick him up before everybody leaves him in school. He came to the shop and stayed with me till evening then I decided to take him back home for him to eat and bath.

When we got back home, my wife made garri again then we ate it. She asked if I had attended steemit lesson today, I had to tell her the truth that I was busy, so she showed me the assignment that was given in the group, I tried to do it but it felt a little bit complicated so I am postponing it till tomorrow so that I will have enough time to write my diary. But before I began to write my diary, I had to help my wife select beans that she wants to use and make moi moi tomorrow, she has been doing all the domestic work and I know she was tired so I did not want to bother her, reason why I helped her.

When I finished with the beans, I washed my hands and began to share this diary, it was really ana amazing day if you ask me, words will fail me if I try to tell you everything that actually happened but I know from this little I could share, you know it was truly an amazing day my friends.
