The Diary Game Stranded Because Of Blackout (09/10/2025)

This morning, the blackout we are currently experiencing has left us stranded to some point that we do not even know what to do. We couldn't pump for like 3 days now and the electricity distribution company just sent a message to us that they have increased their tariffs. I had to take my rubber to the next street to fetch water and we had dozens of people coming there to fetch water.

When I got back home, I checked to know what my wife would have for breakfast before I took my soon to school. When I came back, I had my bath before leaving to work.

I did not wait to eat at home because I was running late and since there was sun, I wanted to rush down to my shop so that I will go and dry the clothes that weren't dried 100% yesterday. When I got to the shop, I took this selfie as the first selfie for the day.

When I was done, I began to iron the clothes that were not ironed so that I can focus on washing the little clothes I took to the workshop today. A hectic day you know, but then, it's our cross and I spent the whole of my morning doing so.

I dried the clothes and then I took the pile of clothes I ironed the previous day and today and arranged them into a single shelf so that I will know their owners by their tags. It's one of the tactical work I do not let any other person help me with.

When I finished, I took the dirty clothes and washed them out before I began to apply chemicals and some bleaching agent to the ones that had stubborn stains. I had to wear my hand gloves while doing that to avoid the chemical harming me.

When I was done with the clothes, I took then outside and out them on the line then went inside to rest because those set of clothes were for the next day to be ironed. I slept off while resting because I was so tired. When I woke up, I went to the nearby food store and bought this food then ate before I closed the shop.

My wife called me that she would be going to church and me, I didn't feel like but since I am the choir director, I had to close the shop and go to church. I strolled down there because it wasn't a normal service but rather it was a prayer band meeting and I needed to be present there.

When I came back home, I asked my wife what she wanted to eat and she told me then I made it for her quickly so that I can come to steemit and write before taking my bath. It's late already and from here, I will bath and sleep.
