Yesterday night, I spoke with the assistant of the orthopedic and trauma surgeon. He kindly shared the contact information of Popular Diagnostic Center and even arranged a discount for my MRI test. He told me to be present at Popular Diagnostic Center, Building 2, at 9 AM.

The train arrived at the station before we got there

Early in the morning, I woke up, freshened up, had breakfast, and got ready. My father also prepared to accompany me. We reached the railway station before 7 AM. The train had already arrived, so we boarded quickly. The journey to Shyampur railway station was smooth, but we had to wait there for a long time to allow another train coming from the opposite direction to pass. Once it left, our train resumed the journey toward Rangpur.

Alhamdulillah, we reached Popular Diagnostic Center 2 just after 9 AM. After paying the MRI fee at the cash counter and collecting the receipt, we went to the counter near rooms 103–104, which handles CT scans and MRIs. The man at the counter told us to wait until my turn was called.

MRI tests take time for some patients, so I had to wait until noon for my turn. Inside the MRI room, my left knee was positioned on a support, and half of my body went into the machine. I felt a little nervous because of the loud noises it made, but the process was not painful, just a bit uncomfortable due to the duration. The test took about half an hour.

Afterward, my father and I went to a restaurant for lunch. Then we returned to the department for my CT scan, which was much quicker, taking only a few minutes. Once both tests were done, I submitted a photocopy of the doctor’s prescription, got a signature from the help desk, and handed the documents to the CT scan & MRI counter. Unfortunately, they informed us that the reports would be ready in three days, meaning I would have to return to Rangpur again.

We had rice and chicken curry for lunch

The MRI test originally cost 7,000 BDT, but with a discount it was reduced to 5,000 BDT, which is about 41.18 USD or 292.85 STEEM. In the afternoon we headed to the bus terminal, waited a few minutes, and then boarded the bus home. We reached before 6 PM, and I took a shower right away.

In the evening, I had some snacks, did a few tasks on Steemit and other social platforms, and later had a light dinner. Feeling exhausted, I didn’t stay up late and soon fell asleep.

My diary ends here. May everyone be healthy and safe by the grace of Allah. I will try to share my activities with you for the next day.

Firstly, it's good that you woke up early to prepare for your test and scan.
I have never been on a train but I'll love to try it.

Secondly, you have a good relationship with your father, who understands that going on a scan for the first time could be a bit scary and he was there to assist you in all the way. Cheers to good parents. I hope you are ohk now.
