Today I will write a beautiful blog, this is one of the historical days of Bangladesh. Today is New Year's Day according to our Bengali calendar, this day is celebrated every 14th of April. It is known as Pahela Baishakh in Bengali.

Since today is New Year's Day, I woke up early in the morning to celebrate it, got up and got ready to go to a park called Ramna. To go there, I wore New Year's Punjabi and came to a place called @shahid76 @mahadisalim Jurain with my 2 steemians brothers. There we had bread, vegetables and tea from a restaurant for breakfast.

I took a rickshaw to Ramna Park for just 200 taka. As soon as I reached the park, my joy came out even more and from there I bought a New Year's clip and put it on my Punjabi which made me even more cheerful. Ramna Park is open to the public so no ticket is required for entry.

I went there and participated in the New Year celebrations of our Sanskrit and traditional Ramna Botmul. Botmul is the place under the banyan tree. The journalists of all the media channels of our country are continuing their work on this batamul. When journalists ask many people about this day, they answer.

For security, from the police force to the army, and the border guard, everyone was involved there for peace and a beautiful environment, special dogs were kept in cars to catch the criminals, this is another beautiful arrangement for security. Happy New Year is written in Bengali at various places inside the park and the gates are decorated with Bengali traditions, pots and pans. I took several pictures around there.

There is a beautiful pond inside the park and this canal has enhanced the beauty of the park, as there is a bridge over the pond, many people are busy taking pictures, and we also enjoy the beautiful moment there and keep taking pictures. In the pond, there are speed boats and administration and security police forces are trolling for security.

Inside the bridge, many people are selling flags and on that flag is written Happy New Year, we bought it from this man and put the flag on our heads and took pictures with him. Honestly, I started enjoying a different moment then.

The main road outside the park is closed to vehicular traffic today so many of our heritage and culture lost toys and furniture are being sold. There everything is being sold on the street like a fair. There are Bengali traditions such as dhol, ektara, bete jhuri, palm leaf hand fans, etc.

I went to Zero Point at a place called Shahabagh and there were beautiful toy balloons and the streets were filled with people, everyone was walking on the streets wearing saris for the New Year and the boys were wearing Punjabis. Everyone was excited and there was a breeze of joy in everyone.

The flower shops were bustling with women. The women were dressed in traditional Bengali saris and had garlands of flowers on their heads, everything about them was filled with the joy of the New Year. The road about 3 kilometers from Ramna Park was bustling with people celebrating the traditional day.

A little further from there is the largest public university in our country. Not only Bangladeshi citizens but also many other countries come to celebrate this day and see everything about the culture and traditions of Bangladesh.

There, as a culture of Bengal, rural farmers and Baul artists have put their musical instruments in their hands and presented the tradition in front of everyone. I took pictures with them and I felt like everyone was just floating in a sea of joy. Everywhere, the country's media is recording these videos and sharing them with everyone.

The teachers and students of the university have beautifully made a palanquin for the wedding of the national animal, the pigeon, the symbol of peace, and the village time. A Mangal Shobhajatra has been organized by the teachers and students of the university. There, a conference of the 28 ethnic groups of Bengal participated in this procession. We are standing on the side of the road to watch the ShubhaJatra and take pictures.

However, it has been interesting that the visit to the Bengali tradition of horse riding reminds everyone of this culture and tradition again. The horses are very beautiful to look at and are very big, which has attracted me to see more.

After this procession ended, we went inside the university where the entire university was beautifully decorated. There, when we were tired of the heat, we ate ice cream and nuts. After spending some time there, we left for home around noon.

After coming home, I took a bath, finished my lunch and went to sleep. In the afternoon, I woke up and went to the house with my cousin. My cousin wore a flower garland and a saree to celebrate the New Year today, so I took some pictures with her.

In the evening, I went home and had pasta and tea as an evening snack. After that, I went to Steemit and wrote a blog and kept talking to my wife. Thus, when it was time for dinner, I ate and then went to sleep.
