Hello everyone,
I am @sojib1996

How are you all? I hope everyone is well. Alhamdulillah I am fine too. Today I will be taking part in a beautiful contest of the Hindwhale Community community. This contest name is "The most Famous Festival Of My Country".
Thank you so much Sir @abdullahw2 for organizing such a beautiful event.
What is the most famous festival of your country? When it is celebrated or occurs? |
---|
I am a Muslim citizen of Bangladesh, and Bangladesh is a Muslim country, so the most famous festival of this country is Eid-ul-Fitr. This is not only in our country; it is the biggest festival of Islam. However, we enjoy this Eid the most.
Everything in our religion depends on the sighting of the moon and the calendar is made on the sighting of the moon. Still, before celebrating this festival, we have to fast for 1 month, after seeing the moon and fasting for the entire month of Ramadan, when the moon of the month of Shawwal is seen, we celebrate this Eid-ul-Fitr festival.
What is the significance of that festival in your country's traditions and in your religion? |
---|
Eid-ul-Fitr is the biggest festival in the Muslim world. It is not only a day of joy but also a symbol of keeping oneself safe from sins, gratitude to Allah, and compassion for society. Some significance is given below.
After a month of fasting in the month of Ramadan, Eid-ul-Fitr comes, a day of attainment for Muslims, since they fasted correctly by the instructions of Allah, restrained themselves from sin, and engaged in the worship of Allah.
Eid al-Fitr comes as a special reward for Muslims, they express their gratitude to Allah. It is a kind of reward of faith, where Muslims hope for Allah's blessing to complete their fasting and worship.
Fitra and Zakat are given on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr. This is a means of helping the poor and needy so that they can participate in the joy of Eid. And this Zakat changes the position of the poor.
Eid al-Fitr is not only a religious festival, it is a day of reunion with family, friends, and relatives. Muslims share happiness with each other on this day, wear new clothes, and wish each other Eid, everyone is compassionate towards everyone.
How is that festival celebrated? Is there any traditional foods or activities linked to it?. |
---|
Eid Ul-Fitr is a very joyful day for Muslims. There are special customs and foods to celebrate this day which may vary slightly from local culture and country to country, so some of the food activities of our country are given below.
- The first thing to do on Eid-ul-Fitr is to wake up in the morning, freshen up, wear new clothes, and pray with the congregation at the Eidgah. Through this prayer, Muslims thank Allah and pray.
- On the day of Eid, family, friends, relatives, and neighbors all greet everyone with "Eid Mubarak". Eid is a day of gathering, so everyone can come together and enjoy it beautifully.
Special Food
- After fasting in the month of Ramadan, very good and delicious food is prepared on the special day of Eid. Especially Semai, food is eaten in South Asia and it is made with Semai, sugar, dates, raisins, and sweet complementary ingredients along with cow's milk.
Polau, biryani, and meat curry are the delicious dishes that are cooked.
Eating sweets on the day of Eid is a special tradition. Among them, Payes, Rasgolla, Chamchom, and Jilapi are some of these sweet dishes.
There are also, Ice cream, Yogurt, Falooda, Haleem, etc.
What is one unique fact about this festival that most people don’t know? |
---|
Since this Eid is full It is held within the Muslim world, and this day is celebrated in different countries, because it is related to the moon, and the day is celebrated based on the sighting of the card.
In addition, Eid al-Fitr is not only for Muslims, it is also known as a festival of charity in many third-world countries. In many countries, a lot of charity is given on Eid and the poor are helped. The main meaning of giving zakat is to change the position of the poor. And it is from this Eid that the position of many people changes. Islam is a religion of peace and through this religion we find peace.
I would like to invite my friends @ulfatulrahmah @seharsharif and @shahid76 to take part in the contest.
