Repairing electric hedge trimmer

Those of you who following our last posts have noticed that we are doing a lot of work in garden, due to rainy spring and sunny summer a lot of bushes and grasses around, they grow so quickly and very juicy and tall.

We have many simple manual equipments but as you know that electric equipment makes the life easier, so my hubby grabbed the electric hedge trimmer but after trying to use it he noticed that there are two things broken:

  • electric cable of the equipment was broken

  • the other one was grinding carbon that was too dirty and did not work

The hedge trimmer itself was good quality of "BOSCH" and as it is often happens my hubby tried to do ev erything to fix it and only if that does not work then to dispose it.

Up to work: DIY

This is the working area for my hubby, under garden sun umbrella, you can see the trimmer and encurcled cable, it is also very short so decision made to replace it by another cable from other old and broken equipment which is in good condition able to transmit the power of strength of our trimmer and also very long.

These are hte basis equipment that everyone might have at home and so everyone can repair it.

Now the time to check the place where the cable is connected and also it was hten clear that the grinding carbon became dirty and that is another reason why it stopped working. Now time to clean it up.
