Delicious and tasty gourd khichdi

Greetings to all my friends, I am starting my new post today, wishing everyone well. Today I am coming with a recipe post. Currently, it is raining almost every day in Bangladesh, as the monsoon season has not arrived, and we all like to eat khichuri a lot on rainy days, but today I have made a different kind of khichuri. Today I will make khichuri with gourd. It is very tasty and healthy as well, but let's get started. Below is the details of how I made it.

Required materials👇🏾

◓Khichdi rice
◓gourd
◓onion
◓green chilli
◓ bay leaf
◓salt
◓ roasted powder
◓ turmeric powder
◓cumin powder
◓ginger paste
◓ white oil

The Process of receipe


Step 01

At the beginning of cooking, first, chop the gourd into small pieces and chop the onion, green chilli and bay leaf and keep it on a plate. Then take a clean pan and add the chopped onion, green chilli and bay leaf there. When a little water dries up, add oil to it and then when the onion is slightly fried,

Step 02

add all the dry spices and a spoon of ginger paste. In this case, it is better to say I will not add garlic in this recipe because it contains gourd. When the smell of gourd and garlic is mixed together, there is no smell of gourd, so I will skip the garlic in gourd recipe. Then cook it well for about two minutes. The oil will come out on top and grind the spices well. Then add the chopped gourd on top of the ground spices.

Step 03
Then, grind the gourd and spices well cook them and wait until they are cooked. After the gourds are cooked about 80 per cent, add the washed khichdi rice. Then, fry the gourd and rice well for a while.

Step 04
Then, add the required amount of water to the soaked rice. It is better to add a little less water here because the lav will release excess water. Then cover it with a lid and wait for some beautiful and tasty khichuri to be prepared. After that, within about 15 to 20 minutes, the gourd khichuri will be completely ready. Then, take the khichuri of the gourd on a plate to serve. And thus, today's khichuri is ready. Then, take a few cucumber pieces and prepare it for Prepare it for serving.
