This or That " contests - What is more important Degree or Skill?

What is your choice, education or skill?

In as much as education is the power that rules the world I chose skills while growing up the send us to school, 6 years in primary school 6 years in high school and 4 years in tertiary education hoping at the end of this you will be able to provide for yourself and the people around you because as you grow up your responsibility increase and people that look up to you there numbers increased

But after obtaining this education you realize that it has become part of the load in your suitcase without use and without anyone asking for it for job opportunities it has been a forgotten item which has been placed properly in a safe corner of the room but one has spend entire time studying so that you will become a great person through education but revises was the case

I graduated from tertiary education in 2016. I have applied for a job in different organisations, both government and private institutions. Their pay is less and their stress is more which is not supposed to be so but this is how we found ourselves in this part of the world The workload is more than the pay

One thing I am grateful of in this life is that I have learned skills of different type I am a hairdresser at the same time a chef I have undergone this to help my life and they are the one that is helping my life and the people around me because my certificate has been placed in my suitcase without trace or when it will be used but my skills has put food in my table and it was my skills that help me to finish the tertiary education instead of the tertiary education to help me is the skills that is still helping after using the skill to acquire knowledge from the academy section

And when I look around the world I see that they must riches and successful people are the people without education but there skills have lifted them above in my community I see those that acquire skills and are living well without stepping a feet in class for education they have build mansion and send their children to school but they don't have education but they're living well

To some extent sending children to school is to fulfil righteousness because people will insult you because we are in the digital world If not I could have sent my children to acquire skills from an earlier stage so that they will not end up giving government revenue without getting beneficiate

So I stand on the ground that SKILLS are more important than education

• One of the advantages of my choosing this option is that, at your doorsteps, you can earn money without applying or refunding revenue to any organisation

• You can get a job with an instant assessment because your skills live with you, you sleep with it and wake up with it You don't have to go and read for an interview or write an application for you to activate your skills at any given opportunity within your line you can be employed

• You are the boss of your business you close and open at your leisure time but in an educational line you have to write for a sick leave or report to the office in any emergency that occurs within you

• A self-employed person always stands firm even if there is a loss because it's a one-man business Falling is part of life but the ability to stand up and face the world is what matters and a skilled person is a person who keeps learning from their skills at any given opportunity

Discuss another choice you didn't choose.

• Job opportunities are rare and applicants are in thousands waiting for a white collar job with a first-class education is a waste of time My sister's husband has graduated with a second-class upper for over 10 years now still writing applications

• In the educational line of work you can get sacked for a mistake you make in the organisation

• Some of the workers in the educational line because of the poor nature of payment they come back to the skilled people to borrow money at the end of the day to feed their family because there is no implementation of their promotion some of them have been working in the same level for 5 to 10 years the government always oppress their workers what a skill person is always free

• educational line has retirement which at some point you retire and have nothing to hold on to and you become liability to your community because you depend on the government work and they don't pay well so they you can plan your future and at the end, you retire without building a feature for yourself, I have seen some of them retire from government work without a bicycle to ride home.
